Just learning myself,I think you need to use some keywords on every page, Do not stuff them in the page they need to look and sound like they belong where you use them.
Great site Larry. Clean, lot's of info and great content. Any keyword tool you use will give you several variations of your keyword title search, if one rings a bell for you and you put that in to your keyword tool search and that gives you more ideas, well now you might have three or four good keywords that you can write some good content for. Good advice below saying, your keyword is your title, have your keyword hopefully in the first sentence or two, if not somewhere in the first three lines in the first paragraph and maybe one or two more times throughout the article. No need to over due it. As for sticking multiple keywords in to one article, kind of a waste and you could be penalized by google for doing that. One keyword, one article, used two or three times throughout the article, you'll do fine. Good job
Happy Holiday's. No drinkin and four wheelin with your two wheeler.
Don
you put one focus keyword and make sure you use it a few times without stuffing or making it sound or look weird...
I use yoast SEO plug-in it's free and it really helps in terms of how to set-up an acceptable layout for SEO, what makes it good is that it's per page, once you set the "focused keyword" they will tell you what you need to do to improve your SEO visibility even flesch reading
hope this helps
Hi Larry, I am no expert because I am still learning myself, however, I think it is important to have keywords in all your pages, but very clean and simple. Just don't overdo it. I hope this helps a bit.
Blessings,
Wendy:)
Larry, I see you have some sound advice from other WA members.
Your site is fab, I still remember when you started that site and it's really come on amazingly, it's looking very professional. I'm glad you're doing so well.
You should use 1 major keyword phrase per page. Minor keywords can be added to a page if it makes sense with the content. M
You incorporated those keywords into your content.....if you're trying to get people to your home page and your landing page....you can also place links to those specific pages within your content on other pages...there are so many possibilities open to you....
G'day Larry. Firstly, you need to have unique keywords for each page or post, so that it gives your entire site more coverage. 4 or 5 keywords should be enough for each page, but if you try to jam too many keywords in, then you will be penalised. I remember years ago that some unscrupulous people used to have a virtual dictionary hidden in their headers, to hog the search engines - this is not allowed now, so be careful about having too many keywords.
If you want people to systematically go through your site, at the bottom of your home page, you can include a "Next" link which will take them to the next page, and have another link at the bottom of the second page leading on to the third page, as well as back to the previous page... and so on.
Larry I believe you cannot overdo keywords. The key places on a page to place keywords are: in the title of the page, in at least one heading. In the first paragraph hopefully it will fit in the first sentence. Then only one to three more times per page. It really helps to also put the keywords into the tag section for the page or post as well. Follow a similar pattern for each page. Since Google changed it's algorithms a couple of years ago, any page that is overstuffed with keywords gets penalized. So simple is better. Some special keywords that you would add to each page would relate to your overall site, but page by page is better. WP sites are designed to work like that easily. If you have 15 keywords it is unlikely that google would like that all on any one page. Maybe better to pick the ones that more definitely apply to each specific page. Do you get it?

The quality of your content is more important than the quantity of your keywords. And if you can't make your content read and sound natural with a certain keyword, don't include it.

Hi Larry - great site, and Tim's story is monumental! I left several quotes on the website, but the one I like best is:
There comes a time in a man's life when to get where he has to go - if there are no doors or windows he walks through a wall.
Bernard Malamud
I'm so proud of you for what you're doing here - it's very important, and INSPIRING!

To be honest, I really don't like to put things too far out there...I am already counting down for my heart surgery in January...not looking forward to that...rather have time go a bit slower right now..:)) I will be on the look out though. :))
No problem Larry, love to help when I can. I had a brother named Larry...not easy to forget that name...keep up the great work.
