I've been thinking about creating another website...amazon affiliate. Instead of making another website would it be ok to use my current website bloggersrefuge.com This site is
I think you can totally include you amazon stuff on this website. Why start a brand new site when you can just incorporate your product reviews into your current one. As long as the products are somewhat relevant, it's fine. I've thought about doing portable 4G network bank reviews for my MMO site, because when you work online, it helps to have an internet connection even when in remote locations.
Cameras, computers, equipment are definitely relevant to running an online business.
Thx Nathaniel you always respond to my Qs and appreciate it. My only worry about Cameras, computers, equipment etc is it might be over saturated. What do you think?
There will be competition in ANY niche, and that's a good thing. It means people are making money! You'll have to work to establish yourself in the niche, but everyone has to work. I wouldn't worry too much about competition.
Imagine if there was never any room for new businesses. People would have stopped opening coffee shops long ago!
Plus, you have a unique angle (niche). Rather than just "What's the best camera", it's "What's the best camera for bloggers".
I don't think it's a great idea to mix hardware and software. I looked at your site and it seems that it's mostly concerned with paid Genesis Themes. So your theme is about finding the right Wordpress template to build a blog.
If I go to your site looking for information on themes, that's what I want to look at. Finding posts not directly related to themes would be very confusing.
They really are a different niche. Video is huge these days. I'm sure a site devoted to video equipment for bloggers who want to add video and reviews of decent video and audio equipment would do very well. Good luck!
Thx for replying, I think I've got a lot to think about, but I thought it'd save me trying to get another site established when I've already got one doing well. I've seen others do it and done well.
I'd like to see an example if you have one. I am certainly no expert by any means, you can always try it and see what happens. :-)

Two different niches, two different sites. However, don't spread yourself too thin.
