Who Wants To Unleash Their Inner Rebel And Have Some Fun?

I don't know about anyone else here, but spring fever in my part of the world has unleashed my inner rebel with a vengeance! If you think you are going to find some hidden treasure in this post about writing disciplines, sticking to a regular writing schedule, answering emails, making efficient use of your work day, mind blowing marketing strategies, or any other kind of responsible and mature business building tidbits, please move on 'cause this post ain't about any of that.

As a matter of fact, this post is all about skipping off school, telling your "inner goodie-two-shoes" to run naked through the spring violets, eating that first double scoop triple chocolate ice cream cone of the season, hanging out in the sunshine while you act like your favorite hippie friends when they've been blissed out on magic mushrooms, only you're just blissed out on the sunlight, and last but not least, telling your responsible, oh so clever and disciplined, smart ass, ducks all lined up in a row, I'm on page one of Google, writer/blogger self to simply kiss off for a few days so your inner rebel can do her spring thing.

And not to leave any of you guys out of the picture who may be feelin' a touch of the inner rebel coming out, whether from spring fever or just over-working. Time to go play in the mud!

Sure we can tame this part of ourselves some of the time when we have to, but boy, don't ever think it's a wise move to keep him or her bottled up when he or she wants to stop playing the 'I wanna be successful and wealthy and work from home and have all the time and freedom I can for the rest of my life' role for a few days.

I'm not saying that's not possible - to be successful and wealthy and work from home and have all the time and freedom you can for the rest of your life - I'm just saying it might not be possible if all we ever do is work and make no time for play. All work and no play can make us dull people/writers/entrepreneurs that no one will want to listen to.

But a little tip-toeing through the tulips with some serious 'I got me some bad-ass no working attitude' for a day or two or three or four, will tame our inner rebel for a while and fill our creative tank with all kinds of new ideas and refreshing new ways of moving forward again.

So here's to the inner rebel in all of us...and don't think you don't have one. :-)

Fiercely, :-)

Heather

Lots of fun to do; weather finally broke out into spring here, too. No mud piles, though; maybe a bike ride... Carol

A bike ride is a great way to feel that freedom, Carol. Enjoy! :-)

I hear you Loud and Clear Heather, If every so often I don't break loose, I can be found literally climbing the walls.

Breaking away from the norm always Supercharges my energy levels.

Thank you

You're welcome, Tommy. Like you said....we gotta let loose now and then! :-)

Heather, so fab to hear from you again!

Yes, that's the only way to get a fresh approach, get dancing, splashing, sliding, garbling abd screeching......

Amazing, the fresh impact one has on people, then!

Dance and skip on, my lovely friend!

Thanks, Therese! Nothing like a little spring fever...:-) Blessings my friend.

I Like It! Yeee-Haaaw!

So glad, Rick. Enjoy the day. :-)

Love it Heather! Go mad! Its Autumn here so I might give the mud a skip... but I'm always game for a spot of fun! Thanks for giving us license to let loose!

Anytime, Lauren. I'm learning how much fun it is to let loose these days! :-)

Hello, Heather.
Your explosive energy now is around me. I love your flow of motivation so much, that I want to add my spirit and soul to fly with you.

Join the fun, Wojtek! It great to fly with the rebels...and be one yourself now and then. :-)

Hahahaha - that was great!
Funny - I was just thinking of you (you appeared to be "absent from class" lately ), I go to the Dashboard and there you are!

Must be telepathy - hahaha!

Yes, Joanne...I was skipping off! But then I feel the pull to come back...and I love that natural ebb and flow....it's not forced. And yes...telepathy for sure! We're all connected. :-)

All work and no play makes one dull.

Bingo! :-)

I love this Heather, I feel this way from time to time and then feel guilty for feeling that way later. It is a feeling I need to embrace from time to time without feeling guilt I suppose, as long as I am not getting out of line. Lol.

Go on...embrace that inner rebel, RaeAnne...I dare ya! And leave the guilt behind. :-)

That is certainly an enticing idea!! I'll bet I'll get a lot done if I do. Thanks for the idea!

You're most welcome, RaeAnne :-)

Yes Heather, you right. When we have time to relax and it happens during play too, we have a lot of energy and joy of life. We are able to perform more tasks through short time.

That's right, Nemira. Refueling is key. Our ego thrives on believing it can run on an empty tank. Ha! :-)
