Earn money with blogs here at WA!
Always learning more and more about Wealthy Affiliate and the different ways in which it can help you. Just when you think you've learnt a lot you find out something new!
I was looking at my stats in the WA affiliate program the other day. I hadn't payed much attention to them before - I've been focusing on my website. I noticed 'content clicks' and thought I'd find out what it was. I was pleasantly surprised!
I hadn't realised that the content you post here at WA (blogs, questions, training etc) can be ranked in Google. If someone clicks on your content in Google and then signs up to WA - you get the credit! I can really see how you can use both your own websites and content at WA to earn some serious referrals.
I've only created a few blog posts since I joined a couple of weeks ago but I'm already getting over 10 content clicks a day and I hope to increase this further! At the moment I can only create one blog post per day until I've been Premium for 1 month, and no training until 3 months, but I'm really looking forward to expanding my presence here at WA both to earn referrals and help others.
More and more I realise that if you really want to make money online, Wealthy Affiliate is the best place to do it!

Raw clicks is simply the number of times that your affiliate link has been clicked. So if someone goes to your website and clicks your affiliate link 10 times it will appear as 10 raw clicks even though it's one person.
On my stats page I got rid of raw clicks as it's not very informative (click the big plus sign next to the table to choose what it shows). Unique clicks is more useful as it tells you how many different people have clicked your affiliate link so you get a better idea about traffic. Hope that helps!
Just make sure that you abide by the No Spam rules in WA. You wouldn't want to find yourself banded because you overlooked them.
Thanks for the tip - trying to make sure my blog content etc is original and helpful, or at least as good as I can make it!
Well done! Keep up the good work! ;-)

Hi Mary
It's amazing just how much there is to learn - I discover something new every day here! At the start I wondered how much I would really want to get involved in the community when I have my own website to focus on but realising that content you post at WA goes into the search engines and can earn you referrals is a great incentive!
I've asked around and the content clicks is only for clicks when somebody finds your content from a search engine. As far as I'm aware clicks form people inside WA aren't recorded (if anyone wants to correct me on this feel free!)
That, my fellow WA member, makes it all worthwhile, and knowing your in good surroundings
Absolutely - that's what makes this a great community where people want to help each other and can get rewarded for doing so. On most other internet marketing forums I've found the experienced posters aren't interested in helping the newbies, which is the complete opposite here.
Thanks for the comment - I hope it provides a lot of people with motivation! We all like to see our ranking go up but if we're honest we would probably rather spend time on our own websites rather than creating content just for WA. The fact you can get referrals from content here at WA makes you want to be even more involved in the community which helps everyone.
Hi, WA is a wonderful community and blogging and creating training is some of the ways to earn extra credits here. Wish you best of luck!
Yes, WA certainly is a pretty amazing place - I don't think you will find better training and support to help you earn money online. I've tried a lot of other websites in the past but none come close to this. The fact you can earn referrals simply by blogging on here is even better!

It's true you get paid from your converting clicks from your posts and blogs here from users of Google and other search engines. But, are you sure your clicks are a person or a robot scouring the internet because it has nothing better to do.
Here's hoping at least some of them are real people, but unfortunately there's no single way of telling! If I start getting referrals through this I'll let you know.
Thanks on my first site, which was the "make online money niche" I got about 2 clicks per day but I'm pretty sure they were robots. Yours could be higher if you've indexed with more than Google I would imagine. Robots click thru all links on your site ( and when one takes them off the site, they stop ). Wish there were a way to screen these out. Do you know if your clicks are timestamped? That would be the surest way to tell. If they're all at or around the same time day after day, it's likely a robot.
The clicks on my website seems to be pretty random throughout the day, which is good news. I hadn't really considered about robots before. The clicks on content here at WA are simply recorded in a table for the whole day so there's no way of knowing when clicks happen.
Perhaps we can start a niche selling to robots!
