It's weekend here in Cameroon.
I'm in Douala and about spending some quality time here on WA.
Where are you and how is it doing there?
I'm here in Texas, Forth Worth to be exact. It's warm but I will be spending time with my kids and watching more fireworks.

Sweet. my kids are all home and it's been a wonderful Saturday. Getting late and almost bed time here ;)
Unfortunately, I’m currently at work. But as you all can see, spending time here on WA as well...at least when I can.
Busy, my mother will celebrate her birthday (91) tomorrow, at my place, I will do the catering, (30 people) so today it's shopping, cleaning and cooking day, and tomorrow it's serving day. We have table tennis, snooker and a trapoline for the grandchildren. It's going to be terrific weather:) I am looking forward to an awesome day

I'm just about doing another blog post here on a topic I'm sure many will like. We are here to learn and make money right?

Wealthy Affiliate is also a social media community. We follow people and learn from them.
But some of the members here do not have their personal pictures on their profi
Personally i have never heard a problem with the profile pictures just like social media. I believe everyone joined WA for the same reason but we get to choose different niches hence we are all different but share same goals.
I agree with the comment below and yes a picture of the person is important because I like seeing who I am talking to. But like he said below it is a personal thing and people do have the right to make the choice.

As Jon says, we are all friends here and personally I never follow people who have childrens or pets photos up, love them they might as I love mine and great content they may produce, but I always follow people with Photos up

I do go as far as following Logos if they have some great content. animals and default WA pictures don't attract my attention
I must admit I do find it strange that some people are not prepared to show a picture of themselves!
It is almost like they are trying to hide something.
Maybe they are shy, but we are all friends here.
I use my logo because I am transgendered, and I do not like to be 'misgendered' due to my appearance.
Hey Jon, I think a logo is a unique identify so I don't have a problem at the level.
But I don't understand why you said you don't want to be "misgendered" when we know the logo does not suggest your gender. We don't even know whether you are male or female.
Right, which is why I don't use a picture - if I used a picture, people WOULD be confused.
They aren't even faces of their pets. They're one of the 'default' images offered by WA when setting up your profile. You'll also see the same cars, sunsets and waterfalls as well.

I have found some of my blog posts here on WA indexed and ranked by Google. If someone finds my article through Google, signs up and upgrades, do I get the commission?

No, you will need to do that yourself. Use the search bar above, there should be multiple pieces of training that show you how to do it.
That's going to be a huge bunch of head ache. I'm having about 5gb to move.

Your website must be a Wordpress site to be moved - there is no cpanel access here. So if your current site has 'extra' bells and whistles (it sounds like it may at that size), you may want to reach out to SiteSupport to ask for assistance. I can't guarantee they will help though.
