The more you interact within the WA site the lower your ranking becomes
Yes that's it. You can schedule some specific time for other those interactions especially answering questions on live chat and questions posted by members outside chat.
Yes that is exactly how it works. It's a measure of how much someone interacts with the WA Community either by creating blogs and training or answering member's questions.
You can read more about it here: Be an Ambassador at WA in 2017!
The lower the Rank in WA.. the better your rank is...
Number 1 being the best... ie Kyle...
Thanks :)
Chris
Correct, I wouldn't fret too much on it though, unless you have time to do so. Better building and working on your website. I normally just come on here during my lunch breaks etc.

which rankings?
Search Engine or Within WA.
If you mean within WA than no your rankings go up.
If you mean Search Engines than I have found no proof to confirm it and I have had the same assumption but was not able to confirm it.
I would say it does not because all of the links pointing to your site from WA are nofollow. so they will not hold any weight within search.

Things are slow for me at present due to only being able to commit one hour a day.
only on lesson seven of the starter programme even though I am an affiliate member.
Hi, Penny. Things are slow for me, too, but not for the same reason. I am on lesson 1 of Course #2, but have been working on other things that I see on the community blog, then get stuck and frustrated because I don't know what I'm doing yet. Have to back up my website so I can update the Wordpress, but having trouble following the directions to do it because I'm so low tech. So, you see, you're not alone.
I think I am going to go back to work on the classes and let the other stuff go for a little bit. Hopefully I'll learn the things I need to know in order to achieve those tasks, and then it'll be a piece of cake to get them done.
I think if I were you, I would focus on the starter training lessons for now. That way the time that you do have can be channeled in one direction and you'll accomplish more during the time you can devote to your business.
Carol
Thanks carol.
I appreciate you giving me reassurance. I have decided to take the pressure of myself and go step by step.
Take care
You're welcome. Good job. It's frustrating at times, but oh, so much fun, and exciting to learn everything. The biggie for me is slowing myself down so I do master each step as I go. When I read some of the other posts and try to follow their advise when I'm not ready for it, that's when I get stuck. Glad you're taking it slow and easy.
To our mutual success!

did you see ericcantu's post, he started with bootcamp and made it to vegas inside his first year, so there are many theories on how long you should be here before doing it - it always comes down to the particular person, follow your intuition
In all honesty you should stick to the training that will help you build a sitearound whatever it is you are passionate about.
It makes a big difference when it comes to keeping motivated to accomplish your goals.
In other words what would you rather be doing (work wise) in 6 months to a year when your site starts taking off and the money starts rolling in.
It takes time to build a business and in a year from now, if you are doing like you are taught here, do you want to look back with regret that you didn't choose the path that excites you.
Either one will make you money but if it's the wrong one then it's no different from dragging yourself out of bed and making yourself go do something that despise doing.
Like a dayjob!
Oh that is so true, thanks for reminding me that passion is what drives you, meaning and purpose. love it .
you could, if you do it right, incorporate a review of WA on your website even though it is not a site for promoting Wealthy Affiliate.
Hey pennylippett, take my advice, don't go anywhere near the Affiliate Bootcamp until you've completed the starter program i.e. certification beginning level. The reason why is because the certification beginner program is going to help you do everything from finding a niche and/or a specific focus to getting your website indexed on Google at will which you will want because it is going to give your website A LOT of attention and online credibility.
I was once just like you, tried to rush my way through and it ultimately got me nowhere. I hit more walls trying to figure it out on my own versus getting help from WA. Trust me, go through the certification and complete each task; you'll do wonders for your website and your sanity.
Hi,
I would recommend ro stick with the starter programme to ensure you complete it before moving on. It gives a good foundation for what is to follow.
