Welcome to our profile and thank you for sparing some of your valuable time to find out a bit about who we are. Far too many people come online to create their dream lifestyle and hop from one opportunity to another without giving any of them the correct amount of effort of time to work. Rome was not built in a day as they say! We have been very guilty of ‘shiny object syndrome’ in the past so it is vitally important to us that you do NOT go down the same road!

Together we have over 24 years of experience working full time online and have seen many things come and go.

We live in the UK in the stunning English Riviera, so called because of its unusually warm and healthy climate compared to the vast majority of Britain! We actually have palm trees that grow here!

We have a great desire to help others create the kind of lifestyle that we enjoy – no boss, no commute, time freedom, creating financial freedom which gives so many choices in life.

We are an advert for all of you that might be asking yourself “can i do this?”

Believe me, when I (Jon) started online in August 2008, I had just been laid off and did not know what to do. I could just about send an email and surf the net!! Now, fast forward to today, and I co-own an online business that makes us money each and every month and is growing exponentially.

My beautiful wife Debbie was also laid off from her corporate job a year after me in 2009 and she too decided that being the master of her own destiny was the way to go! We absolutely love the freedom that having an online business gives you. Being there for your kids, (we have 4!) both doing the school run and being there for ALL their school plays, open days, appointments etc is priceless.

Having both been laid off, we realised that we did not want to rely on someone else designing our future, so we took the steps to create our own! “Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” —Thomas Edison

Believe me when I say we have tried a whole heap of things along our online journey to get to where we are. We have tried online franchises, we ran a successful ecommerce business in the holistic wellness arena for several years, affiliate marketing, local business marketing (we still have a few clients who we help with their online marketing) and much more.

Hobbies and Interests

We both love anything to do with holistic healing – we are both Reiki attuned and believe greatly that many ailments are caused by the mind and are preventable. We also have 4 kids ranging from 11 to 25, 3 of whom live at home, so they keep us busy – bet you can relate to Dads taxi!!

Debbie loves to make jewellery and I love football (I have supported Bristol City FC since I was a boy). I also love nice cars and am working towards owning an Aston Martin at some point soon.

We also have 2 big dogs which take up some of our time – Honey is our Golden Retriever and Miley is a Newfoundland. We recently lost Mileys sister - Bear! Very sad.

One of our ambitions is to work with charities in impoverished countries enabling them to have clean water and education. We will definitely be involving the kids as we feel this is a great life lesson for them.

We feel confident that we can share our ideas, thoughts and strategies with you, so lets get communicating. Please feel free to get in touch and tell us where you are on your own online business journey.
We wish you all EVERY success on your online journey.

Superb goals Jonathan! You have a large network and community here at WA that you can leverage for help and support along the way, myself included.

It all starts with a goal...then is followed by action...then is followed by results. This is going to be how it pans out for you and I can't wait to hear about all of your successes in the days, weeks, and months ahead! :)

Your goals are achievable, I am almost 2months into WA and am working up to 9 hours daily on my website. I am 100% sure I will come victorious at the end because I saw know reason not to succeed with such a wonderful community like WA.

Every part of information you might need to grow your business is available here, either in text or in video form. And if that doesn't give the answer you are looking for, the community is ever waiting for questions in live chats and classroom.
Have nice time and I wish you all the best.

Welcome to WA!

You both obviously have a lot of experience in this "world", and I would appreciate anything you would like to share.

Love your dogs! When my kids were little we had a Golden by the name of Martha and a Newfie by the name of Fred (Emilie's North Bay Ebony Knight - but Fred to us!). Now a Shih Tzu by the name of Rocky - going from "large" to "small" has been an adventure and a very pleasant one. Rocky's been the love of my life (don't tell my husband - although I think he knows) since I got him at 10 weeks - he's now 16! When he was little, my job took me to all 52 states and Puerto Rico - Rocky went along on the planes in a passenger seat! Now we get to stay home and work WA.

I wish you continued success.......

My best,

Laurel

Thanks Laurel for taking the time to leave a comment.

Our Newfs were a rescue case (never socialised and kept in a shed for 4 years!) so they have been a long hard journey I can tell you!

But we love em to bits. They are 9 now and starting to mellow!

WishIng you every success with WA

Thanks for following me, I also am following you back. I am really in the beginning stages of things, I joined in Oct/Nov. 2017. I have been slow at the content, for 2 reasons, procrastination and busy, I guess 3 things. I let busy get in the way. I am off for at least the next 6 weeks from work, I had a knee repalcement 8 weeks ago. The goal is to pour the remaining time off into WA, now that I am feeling at little closer to normal.

Hi Jon,
Welcome to WA. Thanks for following me. It was great reading your Bio. After my divorce many years ago, I settled in Torquay and moved in with my Mum and Aunt. I kept a boat near Torpoint and then in Dartmouth. I have many happy memories from those years spent in Devon.

I'm looking to replace my 'Day Job' and work full-time online. Retirement for me is all about choices. I want the freedom to do the things that matter to me. I have found WA to be a great community and a fantastic learning platform.
All the best,
Paul

Hi there Paul
What a small world. Yes we absolutely love it here in Torbay. It lends itself very well to the laptop lifestyle.
You speak about it in the past tense so where are you based now?
Wish you every success here in WA
