Thank you! Jay provides instructions for determining the number of clicks received on a short Google URL, he doesn't provide any information as to how to determine if a normal WA Affiliate URL used in Facebook campaigns has produced any revenue.

When paying for traffic (usually clicks) you should always use a "tracking link" to differentiate those clicks from other clicks - so you know where the traffic came from. Jay has a training tutorial on it here: Additionally, this same principal can apply to any website or product affiliate link you're marketing.

All of the favorable posts about the value of the "WA Affiliate Boot Camp" are general and fail to provide the most important information: First, how long in hours, days, weeks

I will provide you with a few links to posts that may help guide your thinking. You can find other success posts via the WA search bar, or by browsing under the "Success" Tab within the Activity Dashboard.

Bootcamp training can be applied to affiliate marketing generally (by reading between the lines). In my experience it is a bit easier to follow for total beginners because it is specifically focused on one product (WA).

Posts by Las Vegas winners (300 WA paid referrals in 12 months) Other niche success posts: ~Jude

Hi Jude, Thank you very much - you're the first and only person that's provided hard data in response to my question! That's rather special in my book.

Gene L.

I don't know much about Bootcamp because I started in the certification classes and there are 6 Courses with 10 Lessons per course. I'm guessing that Bootcamp is structured similarly to the Cert path. Depending on how fast you go through your classes that will determine how fast you get your site up. It's about commitment, hours worked per day, whether you are tech saavy, as someone said there are so many variables that it's impossible to say how fast you'll monetize your site. Then you also have to factor in Content Quality (ouch).

Thanks,

Ed

I have been a member of WA for about 6 weeks and I have my website with links. I hope to have at least some revenue soon.
Marilyn

Although the courses are there for everyone to follow, there are so many variables for everyone taking part in wealthy affiliate, it would be impossible to provide concrete information on how things should be. It's going to be so different for each individual, depending on their niche, the amount of time they have to dedicate to, how confident with technology people are etc etc. My personal opinion is that the fact that WA has been up and running for so long is testament to what a good opportunity and effective training it is.

Well said.

That is probably because we all go at different paces, I am working my way through bootcamp just now so far it is certainly stretching me, i started with my own niche which suited me best as I came from absolutely no experience in this field so knowing about my niche helped me settle in better. and bootcamp takes me to a new level

The Affiliate BootCamp is well worth the time to learn and implement.
Everyone is different and will have successes at vey different levels.
The time it takes to complete and generate revenue will very greatly.
Seriously if everyone could just concentrate on helping others
instead of concentrating on the money, they would have successes much faster.
That is how this profession works.

Hi!
I don't know what you are saying but if you want to be a FREE member you can..
If you want to buy a new domain is 5-10$ yearly.. If you want to become a Premium Member is 47$ a month. You have also jaaxy which is 20$ a month. But this options is just if you want it. Not an obligations.

Here are still guys with a FREE membership who are making money online!

Is your choice and depends on you!
Hope this helps and make sense!

WA FOREVER

The founders ... and the community members are all honest and your right nothing is free.

There is no charge for your two free starter member websites. Will they make money, that depends on how well you build them and market them and many other factors.

Premium membership is $19 the first month then $47 or 49 I forget per month after that. This provides you more training and tools and complete access to the community. This will benefit your website and you and your ability to monetize your site.

If you choose to go with your own domain that would cost you between $10 and $12 a year through namecheap.

If you choose to subscribe to Jaaxy you'd have a cost there too but the WA keyword tool works well. Most stick with it until they enough money to cover the cost, some stick with it for the long haul.

That's it ... no more in WA.

ROCK ON!
E

Thank you very much, that was very helpful. Gene

I've read elsewhere that the $19 Premium membership is only temporary and the monthly is then raised to a higher level. The fact that this isn't revealed up front is very dist

The $19 is only for the first month. After that it is $47 USD plus any applicable taxes. I'm not sure where you have looked but I was clearly informed that the $19 was for the first month only.

The monthly fee will be converted to your countries currency if you are not in the United States.

I have been a member for just over a month and have a pretty good website up and running. The only extra cost I have incurred thus far is purchasing a domain name but you can use the free one provided until you are ready to buy your own domain.

I hope this has helped you out a bit.

Your very Welcome!

Thank you, that was very helpful.

Premium is 19 bucks the first month only.

The monthly fee is the ONLY charge you have to pay. Should you decide to buy your own domain name instead of using Site Rubix that can run you about 10-12 bucks a year and Namecheap is the best provider by far. There is only one so called upsell and that is Jaaxy. After your 30 free searches are done you have the opportunity to subscribe but again you don't have to as the WA keyword search tool works perfectly fine.

You should finish up your profile and add a photo so folks know you better.

ROCK ON!

Thank you that was very helpful and I've completed my profile since I posted my question.

That's excellent Eugene!

I took a look at your profile and will assure you that you can make money at WA. This is not a scam and I felt much like you at first with one exception - once I saw the training, tools and community I realized the value.

When and how much money you make has many variables as with any business. Remember you are building a business. Given all the variables the biggest, in think, is your effort. Everyone progresses at a different rate.

You are going to do excellent if you follow the training, complete the tasks in each one and ask questions as you need to.

I look forward to seeing your business flourish. Let me know if you need anything.

ROCK ON!
E

I appreciate the encouragement and good advice - I have decided that I need to move forward with WA and remove all time-wasters I've taken on as quickly as I can. This isn't going to be easy but I need to focus on just one thing, WA.

Thank you very much for your support

Gene

That is an excellent way to proceed Gene and it will give you time to build a solid foundation for your business and learn about affiliate marketing and WA!

The community here is super helpful, this is something you will not find anywhere else. Be sure to ask if you need anything, and you can always reach out to me if you need to.

Best success to you Gene!

Eric, I've clicked to follow you - Thank you for reaching out! Gene

You're welcome Gene. Thank you for the follow, and I am also following you.

It is stated very clearly that the first month of membership is only 19 dollars, than on the same day that you signed up the following month the membership increases to 47 per month from there on out.

I believe that is covered in detail if you watched the opening videos?

The reason there is no other budget covered is because there are no other expenses that are required of you other than the monthly membership.

The only other thing you would need to pay for is your own domain name if you would like, which usually runs about 10 dollars, however, that is strictly optional as you have the choice to use the free domains hosted by wealthy affiliate.

I have been here for over a year now and the only thing I have ever paid is my monthly membership fee, plus 20 dollars for the two domains I purchased.

Thank you, that was very helpful.
