WA Still Works in 2017 & Beyond! $500 Proof.

So as many of you know I've been in this affiliate marketing business for many moons. To put that in perspective, I was online when you had to use a dial up modem and have an account with AOL to connect to the internet.
If you don't know what that is, then that shows how long I've been online. LOL And right from the very start I was trying to make money, along with surfing some questionable websites. Don't judge me. I was young.
Back In The Day
"In my day", you had to know HTML programming to create a website. You couldn't just click a couple of buttons like you do now with WA.
To have people find your website, you would need to post ads in online classifieds and message boards. SEO wasn't even a thing yet. Now you little young "whipper snappers" just need to write some content that is optimized and Google will eventually send you free traffic via people that are actually looking for what you have to offer.
Ya'll don't know how good you have it.
Doubting Thomas
Although I lived through the "dark ages" of the internet. And my blog WorkAtHomeNoScams.com eventually came about because of all the new advances in marketing and technology. It made me wonder, does what WA teaches still work if I started a new blog? After all, my blog WorkAtHomeNoScams.com has been plugging along for over a decade and been pretty successful. Here is SOME of my income:
But maybe I got lucky with this blog and started it when there was less competition. Could I do it again in this new environment where there are far more bloggers?
Challenge Accepted
So I decided to create a new blog: MoreRealReviews.com to prove to myself I could make money in another niche applying what WA teaches. I launched my blog in March 2017 and started pumping out new content. I like reviews so I stuck with that. I also outsourced the articles because I'm too busy juggling too much already.
Oh Snap!
To my surprise my little blog was able to produce over $500 over the course of a few months.
Most of that was from Amazon, which I ignored for years because of their crappy commissions. But it never dawned on me that the affiliate program is actually great because you get paid for whatever anyone buys on amazon using your affiliate link within that 24 hours. So even if people weren't buying what I recommended they were buying other things that made me money. And that was an ah ha moment for me. Either way the point is I made money with a brand new site.
Crap Happens...
Things were going pretty well for my new blog. But then like with any business I was derailed when I lost my writer. I found a new one, but I wanted to take a step back from the new site to see if I could be more strategic with my content. I broke against one of the most fundamental things WA teaches about focusing on one niche. I was trying a different model. And it worked, but I found it more difficult to stay consistent with content ideas. But I plan to revisit the blog in 2018.
So Yes, Wealthy Affiliate Still Works!
So ultimately what WA teaches still works. It worked back in 2007 when I first joined this place and it worked in 2017 when I started a new blog. It does take patience and consistency. I lost some steam with my consistency and my income has gone down with that blog because I'm not adding new content. However, it still makes me money passively even if it's a little. But I suspect when I start writing on that blog again, the site will pick up steam and revenue.
I'm happy I made the investment to be a premium member a long time ago. It has paid for itself many times over. Creating a new blog like I did would have been a big pain in the butt back in the day. But here on WA I was able to buy my domain and set up my blog within minutes. When I needed comments for my new blog, I could get them here at WA.
You take for granted that WA has literally everything you need in one place. And this new blog was a nice reminder of how fortunate we are to have this place. So I hope this gives you some inspiration.
If you're on the fence about investing in yourself, I would say don't be. If you're patient, hard-working, can follow directions and can be consistent, the investment will pay for itself many times over. The proof is in the pudding as you could see above with my new blog.
I'm happy that I went premium years ago. I quickly realized you're not paying a fee to make money when you go premium. You're making a financial investment in yourself and your future. The people that are able to understand this fundamental difference are the ones that succeed long term. Hopefully you aren't Stevie Wonder and you can see this now!
Until next time,

$299 is a small price to pay to gain access to everything WA offers, and I will happily pay it year after year.
