Hi,
I set up AIO SEO a couple of weeks ago on my website and checked this morning to see if Google has indexed my site...doesn't appear so according to the WA Site Managemen
There are times Google and other search engines will take other text instead of your first paragraph.
In the meta description just delete the part that says post type and or separate and add in your 158 characters yourself save and refresh
Hi,
Thanks for the reply. have had a look for your explanation...
"In the meta description just delete the part that says post type and or separate and add in your 158 characters yourself save and refresh"
Can't find where to do this,
All my AIOSEO scores are around 80 %. My website has been active for over a month and still not ranked. I guess you got to be patient, and keep posting.
Hi, you do need to keep posting to satisfy Google. You do need to be patient. I wish you success.

Your meta description is 430 characters long, which is too?

Thanks for all the replies, still haven't fixed the error that AIO SEO is showing, but Google didn't seem to care as it has now ranked my site....:-)

Hi all,
Expanding on my previous question about blog articles and how often we can post them..
Where is the BEST place to post a blog / article to get the best result from
Hi Katie,
Just posted the following to Mark, would love your thoughts on this as well if you don't mind.....
I know the QSR is slightly above 100, but it has lots of traffic, thought I might be able to get a little bit of it. I have a series of blogs I plan to post, all based on the same general topic but different headings and varying content. All the topic headings have similar keyword numbers and thought that as my ranking went up I'd get more traffic..
Please tell me if I'm on the wrong track so I don't waste my time.
Cheers
David
There is no reason why you cannot give it a go but try and fit into perhaps two low hanging keywords so long as it flows naturally.
this might be a bit of help.

Hi Mark,
I wanted your opinion, please feel free to explain to this newbie exactly what you mean! Love constructive criticism, all the way to the bank.

Yea, I have only been here a month before you. What I get out of this is with that much competation it is more difficult to be successful. There are many visitors but your chances of success is less. This is what I get out of the lesson Kyle gave in WA. I could be wrong.
Hi David, as long as you have the keyword in the title of your page/post and in the first paragraph it will rank high as your website becomes authoritative.
Hope this helps.
Lis.
I've just thought of another avenue which still includes having the keyword in your title, but you could also create articles in 'Street Articles' and link them back to your page.
Street Articles is another program of WA's and is hugely recognised by the search engines. This may also help to increase your ranking.
Once you write a blog, you can share to all your social media groups such as: FB, G+, twitter, LinkedIn, Redditt, etc. You can also look for groups related to your niche on places like FB and G+. Then there are forums. Just do a google search for forums related to you niche.
But be sure to read the terms on the forum, there are some which don't allow affiliate links or only allow them in one area like your signature.
Hi Angel,
Thanks for the reply, this helps heaps and answers my question, but brings another question to boot, I'm not sure what the difference between sharing on SM sites and forums is compared to posting? How do you do it without posting the blog or article? Is there a WA course for doing this?
thanks for the help
David
Maybe I misunderstood your question. I was thinking you wanted to know where to promote (post) your blog. I was assuming you had all ready placed the article on your website. :)
Put your new post on your website and then share in the places I mentioned. :) I hope that clarifies, sorry for the confusion.
No you didn't misunderstand my question, I just didn't phrase it well. I'm so new to this I'm not sure exactly how to share on Social Media. I have a Facebook account my kids believe I should shut down (which I did 4 3 months, another story) because I post things and do stuff in the wrong places...
Thanks for the replies.. :-)
Its ok, we were at new at one time. :) I looked up some videos for you. I'll be honest, I didn't watch them lol. But if they don't help, go to google, search how to use facebook (or anything) and then click video under the search bar.

When we write a blog article for our website, should we only post it on there, or can we post it here at WA and at other places like Street Articles without it been seen as dupl
I usually post a little bit about what I have blogged about David and then put a hyper link to the blog article (using the words read more or continue). This way it is not duplicate and I get to share my work with my friends here at Wealthy Affiliate.
I hope that helps you.
Thanks Susan,
I know I'm being really bald at the moment, but can you send me a link to one that you've done so I can see exactly what you mean..
Cheers
David
Others have answered. I agree google doesn't like duplication. Unless it is a paid ad get those all the time from disparate web sites.
Thanks Glyn
By that comment I'm assuming (which i hate doing for obvious reasons) that you only post it once, but that once, can be on your website or an article directory etc
Thanks for the prompt reply David,
Ok got it don't copy my blog off my website and post it anywhere else, what if I don't put it on my website and put the original post directly into one only specific article directory can I link it back to my website?
