When I go to the Affiliate Programs and click on Health I get nothing but Clickbank programs. Is that normal? I am still trying to learn what programs I should affiliate with
Good morning.... We have joined up with a site called AWIN... Although we are new to this, we knew the kind of companies we wanted to sign up as affiliates with.
The first affiliate program we looked for, we knew the company did have an affiliate program and clicked the link.
This gave us the option to sign up with AWIN.
Once we were accepted with AWIN, we joined the advertiser we were orinially looking at.
Then we searched within AWIN for other similar companies and have now joined with 3 companies.
Hope this helps

I work for Awin - welcome to our network! I'm so glad that you joined us, and if I can be of assistance please let me know.
Hi Jeanne... Great to meet you...
We have signed up with AWIN as my wife has a blog and YouTube channel teaching crafting and card marketing / scrapbboking.
We have linked with some great companies...
She is delighted.
I will add you to my network as soon as I have written this.
Look forward to reading your blog.
Best wishes

Thank you Jeanine... appreciate it.
I uploaded her video at the weekend with an affiliate link to the product she was using and she had 2 small sales in the 2 days since upload.
So she is like the cat who got the cream.
Stay well

When you get a moment, check out the new Publisher MasterTag. That makes it super easy to do things like monetize photos and videos.
Glad she's so happy!

I have several affiliates not on our platform, and 2 I just asked the company and the affiliate program was just coming together and now I am one of only a few.
Do not discount others of favorite products you believe in and sure others will also.
One other note is that many companies on Amazon that you may like have higher commissions if you deal directly with them, but you have to go to their website and either signup there or ask them.
Just a couple of suggestions.
Take care,
Bill
Also, Clickbank does well if you market a few you have either tried or know are very good. Use landing pages to attract traffic.
Try going deeper than just "health" when you search. There are lots of other programs in there too, but they may be easier to find by keyword rather than category. I know. I've loaded hundreds of programs on behalf of Awin and ShareASale.
You can join any affiliate program you want, even outside the Affiliate programs offered here at WA. I go to websites of products I already know I like (or want to promote) and see if they have an Affiliates link at the bottom of their page. That's another way to go. :) Hope this helps. Paula
Clickbank is only one of the many options available to Affiliate marketers. Personally I believe they're overused making it difficult to get the attention of your audience
But that's only my opinion. Jim

they have mostly digital products, it easy to join and they also have extensive training, also you can get up to 75% from the sale of most of their products......... so that's good! I sold a few of them. O know that some become Millionaire online thanks to Clickbank! so give it a try as there are millions of products I believe you can find some that fit your Niche.

Please don't send me links to the training video. I have watched and paused and done exactly as it says and I still can't get this figured out. I am so discouraged about ready
Okay I have it working for Text. I have not gotten Text+Image to work yet. Calling it a night. I will keep going tomorrow until I figure out the Image too.
Thanks to all who have helped me through my struggle.
I am following ValerieJoy tutorial and almost have it figured out. I do not understand what she means by "text editor" I don't see that anywhere. For aligning the image to right, left, or center.
I am not getting an image at all.
Regarding the text editor, 'editing' is the function. However, please forget the word 'editor' and look for 'Text' which is on the right-hand side of your WordPress screen.
There are two words 'Visual' 'Text'.
Visual is where we type the content. Text is where the code is and that's where you would enter the html code. However, you don't need to use that method to change the position of your images.
When, or if, you get to the stage of wanting to change the position of the image send me a message and I will get back to you with another option.
Perhaps you watched Kyle's training video and it didn't explain things in a way that you could understand, but there are many other training videos available in WA, and one might resonate with your learning style. You can use the search bar above to find member-created training modules.
Here's one of my favorite: Using Amazon Site Stripe Here's one that I created about making links: How To Make A Link With Text And Images Hope that helps Doug! Let us know if you have any more question.
First off, are you already an Amazon Affiliate? If not, then go here and read their terms thoroughly
https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/
I don’t know what your niche is, but let’s say you’re doing a post about a specific drone. Go on amazon and get that picture. If you’re using the manufacturer’s picture to drive traffic to amazon, it shouldn’t be a problem legally.
Now,
You’re going to have to log into the back office of your website. If you forgot how to do this, go to “websites” on the left side of your WA board.
Next: Log into your website as an admin
On the left side you’re gonna see “appearance”
Click that, and you should see something that says “widgets”
Once inside, scroll down to where it says “images”
Now, this is where it will be difficult for me to help you because I don’t know the theme of your website or what it looks like but I’ll try my best.
In “images” you should see a menu that says “left side bar” “center sidebar” “right sidebar” “footers” etc.
If you choose one of the first 3, your image will be somewhere at the top of your page. The footers will be at the bottom.
Now, click “add widget” think of this as “creating a space” Most images I see are on the right side of the screen so you might want to click “add widget” for the “right sidebar”
I know this is long but it’s not easy to answer this question quickly, there are a lot of factors that go in it so please bear with me.
Again, YOU MUST BE AN AMAZON AFFILIATE TO GET THE LINKS or you will have an image for nothing.
Now, look to the right of the screen that says “right sidebar”
If you added a widget, a blank file should appear with the option to add an image.
Click on add image.
Select the image you want and make sure there is a check mark.
Ok, we’re nearing the and you’re doing great, don’t give up now!
On the right side you can put the description of the title, the description of the item and a caption.
I personally don’t like to type anything in the title because the letters are too big. I recommend putting the title in the description section and the description in the caption area.
Now, if you are already an Amazon Affiliate and know how to get links, then the next part is the last step, if not, I’ll explain further.
Use your Amazon Affiliate link and paste it in the box below that says “Link to custom URL” Then hit “add to widget”
Congratulations, You’re done!
EASIER METHOD
If you need to add affiliate links while you’re writing content, copy your affiliate link from amazon and go back to your article.
Highlight the image or text that you want to have an affiliate link and click the button at the top, that looks like a paper clip.
A text box will appear and just paste your link in there. I will warn you, that paper clip button is really finicky, so you will get frustrated with it.
AN EVEN EASIER METHOD
This is just for images. If you’re writing an article and you add an image, before you add the image, scroll down to the bottom of the image and there will be an option to post a link. Add your affiliate link in that area.
IF YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO GET YOUR LINK
In this section, I’m going to assume you’re an Amazon associate but you don’t know how to get an affiliate link. It’s very easy!
Go on amazon and click on a product you want on your website. Preferably the exact same image of what you’re promoting.
At the top you should see “ Sitestripe” and “text” is to the right. Click on “text”
You always want to use “short” links. When I tried to use the full link, it wouldn’t work for me.
Copy the short link and add it to wherever you need it.
There are other methods you can use, but this is the easiest.
Alright, I’ve told you most of what I know. If you’re still having problems please feel free to send me a message. But please follow the steps I gave you first.
I hope this has been helpful!
-Ibrahim
Does this mean I am an Amazon associate? This is what it says when I am logged in.

Hi Doug, I'm not sure if this what you are looking for, it is a training I did on how to insert Amazon images and Text Links into your website. Inserting Amazon Images
I don't know but I think it is outdated. When I log into Amazon it looks different than what your tutorial is showing.
I just wish I could understand this cause its so frustrating I am about to say it's not for me anymore.
That or not do Amazon or change my niche I don't know. Just overwhelmed and frustrated is all.
Thanks for you offer and trying to help me Valerie.
Doug
Hi Doug,
Make sure you are logged into your Amazon account, otherwise you won't see the SiteStipe. So long as can see SiteStripe you can add text links.
This is what it says when I am logged into Amazon associates.
https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/home
I'm sorry I can't help you now. I'm just off to an appointment. I can get back to you in about 2 hours.
Hi Doug,
When I am signed into my Amazon account I see a different URL than what you sent to me. Unfortunately, this part of WA doesn't allow me to send that link.
So, the link does not include the word affiliates. It is amazon.com/ followed by a question mark, ref =nav_ - signin (This is to provide knowledge of the type of link you need to look for)
The link you sent me takes you further into the Amazon affiliate programme. When you have Amazon products on your website you will require that part of the programme, but not yet.
I suggest closing your browser. When you reopen your browser and sign in to your Amazon account, you should see a link similar to what I have described. When you see that link you are in the right place to choose a product.
Click on a product, then look at the SiteStripe at the top left-hand side of the page. You will see the Text, Image and Text+Image links which will be available for you to use as described in my training.
Valerie,
I am following your tutorial. I was not logged into my regular amazon account. Just the affiliates one.
Now that I am and trying to put the link in. I only have TEXT that is blue that I am able to click on in the site stripe.
Does that mean that an image is not available for the product?
I think I almost have this now thanks to your tutorial.
I need to find a product that does have an image because when I click with just the text, it doesn't take me to the exact page for the product but the main page with "Related to items I have viewed"
Still working on this and seeing light at the end of the tunnel finally!
I so much appreciate your helping me. Thank you.
Doug
In the tutorial I don't know what you mean by "Text Editor" I do not see that anywhere. I am in Wordpress.
Hi Doug,
I believe that all products in Amazon have an image.
When you have decided on an Amazon product to promote, find an image that appeals to you, and click on that image. Immediately look at the SiteStripe and all three links will available to click (Text, Image and Text+Image). On my computer, when I click on a product those 3 links are bold.
I think we'd all love to help you Doug. Just asking, have you actually joined Amazon yet? I only asked because it's very unusual for Amazon to accept an affiliate unless they gave a working website with a good number if blogs. If so then I'd get the help from merlynmac below. Jim
Yes I have joined Amazon. I was surprised that they accepted me. I am accepting merlynmac help.
Thank you.
Hello there,
I'd be happy to help you out. I work in IT and have access to remote control tools. If you're willing (there is a trust issue) I can send you to a URL and give you a code to download and install the app and then I can connect and walk you through the process.
Again, it's up to you. When done, I will kill the session so I can't reconnect unless we go through the process again.
Let me know...
I need guidance. I just am a slow learner and can't get this on my own.
I would greatly appreciate help. If I could see it once I would probably be okay then.
