I’m not quite sure what’s going on with the SieComments platform. I’ve been a regular contributor over my 2 years at WA and have always received requested comments within hours (sometimes minutes) of submitting the request but I now have 3 active requests and one has been outstanding for 6 days. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes, I I have and I have also noticed a few comments in live chat. Not sure why though, unless there as been a downturn in using the points system. Hope it will be resolved soon!

I hope so too. It’ discouraging to spend a lot of time providing 2 comments and not receive anything in return.

yes I have given site comments and my requested comments that I have used do not seem to be reducing like they are suppose to. I have noticed this for the last couple of weeks.

Great tutorial, I confused site feedback with site comments, silly I know. I was glad that as soon as I did that an email was generated that alerted me on what I did which was a really good thing. Sometimes I move so fast and I don't pay attention. Anyway I got it and being able to do this is a fantastic option to get comments on your site so for those of you that don't use this you should really make this a regular. Your are helping others as well as yourself.

I submitted a sitecomment to a poor site owner who will probably have to disapprove it. It's wise to watch this video or take the sitecomments tour before trying to offer one.
I didn't realize it would wind up on the website itself. I thought is was behind the scenes in the community. Oh well. I'll try again.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm really loving the site comments platform. Not only is it a great way to get comments on my posts but also it's really interesting to see other people's websites and check out what other people are doing. I love that you can scroll through until you find a post you're interested in commenting on. I've managed to get some good ideas on how to improve my site through seeing other people's sites. And the quality of the comments I've had has been great. This platform alone is worth the WA membership fee as far as I'm concerned. The only drawback is that I'm being distracted from the course! Lol :)

I just left my first comment and although it thought it a good comment according to the instructions, it was not approved.
As far as I can tell, I landed on a website belonging to someone overly picky and who has no regard for the time I devoted to his site.
What is most disapointing is that I found no way to correct the comment and resubmit it to satisfy his desire, so if I missed something I would appreciate a pointer.
Of course, I'll try to improve moving forward, but, it would be great if the system would allow for corrections so that valuable time is not wasted, no?

Hi there,

You have to be careful to discern between "Comments" and "Feedback". Comments would be something you would write as if you were a user of the website that was interested in the product, so that website will look like it's had some visitors. Feedback would be constructive criticism of the layout, grammar, styling, etc. I learned this in the beginning because I put some feedback in and it was rejected.

Good luck :)

Thanks... I'm aware of that; believe me when I say I've read the instructions. Blessings!

I understand how frustrating that can be, and I also agree that sometimes the owners of the sites are overly picky and don't realize that if comments were left by the "general public" that they wouldn't be SO on-track as to be perfect. We are not familiar with the subject matter of the site we are commenting on, and so there has to be some leeway with that, and I find that there usually isn't, and my comments have been rejected as well. That is one thing that I have an issue about here on WA. As for me, I have received comments that were not exactly on target, but I know that the person "tried" their best and if the comment is close enough, I will accept it. It is just the point of getting the comment, and yes, content helps, but if it is off a little bit, it isn't worth rejecting it and thereby creating a black mark on the commenter's profile.

Agreed, and what kills me is that I don't see why the system doesn't provide a second chance to modify the rejected comment as per the site owner's request, but, we move on (LOL).
God bless!

Exactly! I also felt that I left some good comments, after spending the time of looking and reading into some one else's site, to be rejected. Now I am unable to leave comments, so now I can't get comments on my sites. That left me very disenchanted, so I kinda left my sites for awhile, to try other avenues. But I'm back with a vengeance, and a very strong desire to become successful.

Great! The bottom line is, we can't let these little nuances set us back. My second comment was also rejected, and I definitely feel the system is faulty in this regard, but, for now let's press on.

Cheers!
