Playing with Sub-domains
It's been a long day of reading and learning and now I'm jumping into a playground.
Sub-domains are websites you can create under your main URL. It operates completely separate from your main website with its own identity.
- Having its own theme
- Having its own plugins
- Having its own SEO
I'll be testing out the benefits of subdomains and you'll likely be hearing all about it from me soon.
My Sub-Domain Idea
- Having a product focus presentation
- Affiliate links will be focused here. (Redirects from "Main Website")
- Extended use of valuable keywords in URL.
Any tips and pointers for using Sub-Domains?

I know next to nothing about sub-domains. I can't wait to see your research on why these are better than making a new domain.
I've heard sub domains mentioned but have the same question as Loes. What benefits does it have that are different to a normal domain?

They are treated as their own website. Separate from the main website. I'll be looking more into, and testing out my own sub-domain for results. I'll share with everyone as soon as I know more.
Like yourself and others, I still have questions. I believe bad SEO on a sub-domain shouldn't affect your main website. If so.... We may have a playground.
I wish.. Wouldn't that be like Einstein, Tesla, Newton, and Edison,, no wait,,, Not Edison.. He was smart, but I wouldn't say mastermind. :-P

I was going to have a subdomain for one website I own, but I chose not to because I felt it was too much hassle lol. I'm interested in your progress on this one.
It's extra work for sure.. Like running 2 websites.
With practice, anything is possible. Will be updating with training sometime soon.
