178 Search Terms in the Top 10 of Google
I was just looking over Search Console to see if I can find any new blog post opportunities, and I decided to sort by "position" to see how many search terms I have in the top 10 of Google.
As of right now, I have 178 search terms that are in position 10 or better!
Position 10 = 12 search terms
Position 9 = 37 search terms
Position 8 = 35 search terms
Position 7 = 25 search terms
Position 6 = 30 search terms
Position 5 = 10 search terms
Position 4 = 14 search terms
Position 3 = 3 search terms
Position 2 = 6 search terms
Position 1 = 6 search terms
Now sometimes these search terms will shift to a completely different position (or disappear) and some of them are showing up but they really don't get any traffic. Maybe 1 or 2 people typed them in at some point.
I just thought it was interesting to see. This is proving to me that the seeds that we're sowing will begin to sprout. And then eventally we will be rewarded with the fruits of our labor.
I'd love to know how you're ranking! How many search terms do you have in the top 10?

Do not be afraid! My other site doesn't have anything ranking in the top 10 yet. Everything is at page 8 or lower. So, it's ok!

Jay has some trainings on it.
Click on "Live Events" on the left and then type "Search Console" into the search box. There's a few there.

A few means also a few hours of watching, but thanks anyhow. I think now I know where it is, but it does not give such a table as you presented. It gives positions for all keywords (even not targetted), just a list with hundreds of them.
Well, you take the training a little at a time when you can.
I created the table myself from the information I got in Search Console. I sorted my queries by "Position" and then just counted how many there were for Position 1, Position 2, etc.

"cheap date",as an example. Put your keywords in quote marks within Google and you will see if your site comes on the top page. Alternatively use Jaaxy pro
Yes, those will work too. But I use Google Search Console. The good thing about using Jaaxy is that you can also see your rankings for Yahoo and Bing. (I think? Correct me if I'm wrong.)

My site is about plant-based health through diet and essential oils, so all of the ranking posts are related to these topics.
My review pages get the best rankings and click through rates.

I am working at it, Christina, patiently. I am in no particular hurry. I want to embed deeply.
Awesomeness!
