Do You Like Being A Group Member
As there is all the talk within WA at the moment of joining Dave's groups or Bo or Kyle who have promised up to give us the help we need to make a success of affiliate marketing, I have decided tonight to share with you all some fun images that are to do with Team Work.
Now I know that a lot of what will be done with Bo or Kyle will probably be on your own, I still think that there is also a feeling that we are going to be part of a group who will also be working together at times as a team.

Great post, Cheryl! In one way, I love groups because you have a bunch of people working toward a common goal. You have something in common with a bunch of people. They're your "tribe", so to speak.
I belong to several groups on Facebook, and I like that team mentality. We all work together to achieve something.
On the other hand, a group is not going to magically make you any better, any more hard working, any less procrastinating than you are now. It doesn't change who you are.
You can bounce ideas off of each other, but you still have to put the time and effort in yourself.
And sometimes being a part of and interacting with a group is another thing that goes on your "to do" list.
I don't belong to any groups here (nor do I plan to in the immediate future), but I do hope that people realize that, group or not, it's YOU (not you specifically, Cheryl, but YOU as a whole -
including me) who has get 'er done! :)

Thank you Christina for your views on this and I agree that although you are part of a group and you can get some very good ideas and information from bouncing peoples views around between everyone, at the end of the day though we are all still very much responsible for our own outcomes at the end of the day and we do have to work alone at the same time as being part of the group.

A teamwork can be very difficult because the common denominator is ... leveling down... unless the tasks and their evaluations are well set.
Whereas working alone can be drawning too, since there is no feedback and friction.
Being on wa is kind of mix of both, being alone in group

The interesting thing is that, is there something to be revealed that is not exposed here in the Certification Course and Bootcamp to be unconcealed when we join the group? The secret of making $1000 a month or more.
Why not just explicitly say it here if something has been missed by the community?
Well unfortunately, I don't have the answer to that one sorry.

No, there is nothing to be missed except the group dynamic of holding each other accountable, and the camaraderie.
Some people need that dynamic to move forward with their business, it helps them get organized and get more done. That's what the groups are really for...motivation.
Some of us do better working alone. I prefer working alone at my own pace, and interacting with the community as I see fit.
Neither way is bad, it's just a matter of personal style and taste.
You're not missing any training, or any top secret strategy. Do not worry. :-)

I have only just seen Daves Group, I think only because recently on my followers, Bo has been keeping everyone up to speed on his intentions and training schedule and I presume you refer to Kyle in Super affiliate?
Dave and Bo, members need to select their group and Kyle will select his group?

You are welcome Wayne, I think what Dave is planning to do is to create quite a few groups for people who are in the same niche(s) and to give them help to help each other.
Bo is doing something that is similar but different, not sure if that makes sense to you or not lol, but although you are part of a group I think most of the work is done alone as in like following the training. Yes Kyle as in Super Affiliate.
I decided to make it light hearted Wayne because everyone has been all concerned and excited and busy with everything going on that it seems everyone has been really serious. I just thought I would try and lighten the mood a bit.

yes Wayne, I am awake and up and have been now for two and a half hours lol. It is 8.53 am in the morning here and I had to get up and take the dog out at 6.30 am and I wasn't sleepy when I came back to I stayed up.
You have a nice break and have a nice cup of coffee or even a beer or a dram lol.

Lovely little post Cheryl, I myself love team work, it's always more fun with others to put in their suggestions or muscle in some cases.
So many of my WA friends are in the cold right now, myself I'm so hot! no I'm not into myself, it's hot in Oz.

Thank you Jae, I have always worked as part of a team in the jobs I have done as well as working on my own too. You are right Jae, it is always fun to hear other peoples views and opinions on things as well.

I have really enjoyed being part of a group here at WA in general and in one of the challenges (Ultimateless...aka Michael's) which was the year long posting challenge. It really helped me have a deadline each week for adding a new post.
In the rest of my experience though teams are a pain. Sorry to be a downer here, but there is always the know-it-all who talks a lot but doesn't produce, the hard worker that gets dumped on the whole time, those who just don't even show up etc. The dominant personalities always run over the top of everyone else so they get their way even if it isn't the right approach.
I am leery of teams.
I would be willing to join many teams at WA though! So many people here are hard working, kind, open minded, want to learn, willing to ask questions, always help others...it is a great group! I have even thought about starting another challenge like Michael's!

Thank you for commenting and I agree with you here. It has been great to be part of this brilliant community. We are a large group here with lots of different skills and we all help each other which is great to see. I never really got involved in Michael's challenge but for some reason and I don't know why, he added me in at the end.
You are certainly not being a downer in any way and I know exactly what you mean and totally agree with you lol. I have been in quite a few different teams where this has happened. I am not really someone who likes to stand up and speak out but if I have an idea or something I like to pass it on and if there is someone who goes on and on and on then it gets rather tedious.
I put my name forward as being interested in all the 3 different things and will see what happens. It may be at the end of the day I only do 1 but we will see. xxxx
Oh my goodness! The list is out for Dave's groups already so you can see if you are on there. He is not limiting it, just a matter of getting enough interest for some of them.
You will be absolutely swamped with work! That is good if you have time. You will be a superstar marketer!
Yes there are lots of different groups Jessica and you can be a member of more than one group. I asked him to set one up for me for my main site on how we can read books but if no one else joins then I will just concentrate on the affiliate marketing group.
I know, that's why I may have to step back and only work on the one thing to start with lol. xxxx
I think yours (on books) doesn't have any other takers yet. Mine don't either.
I would be scared to join more than one of these at a time! Especially Bo's and Kyle's!
I didn't think anyone would join mine Jessica, I will probably just stick to the affiliate marketing group.

I keep saying it. A Champion will always be beaten by a team every time.
Team work advances all members faster than a individual.
Within these groups teachers, leaders, students, will teach one another so much and quicker than we all realize and strengthen WA as the way forward into a life with the internet with less people falling out of the internet.
This is a great leap forward for WA.

This is great Cheryl. There is no I in team .... There really is a buzz around all of these groups, teams or programs. I hope people realise that it is going to take hard work and focus. There still are no Get Rich quick schemes.

Thank you Karen, I am hoping that just by reading everything that Kyle, Bo and Dave are saying people will come away with the realisation that it will definitely be hard work to make it work.

Cheryl, thank you for this your great post.
Group work is good but it definitely not going to do good for this our community which is a group on its own.
Forming a group in side a group is forming factions which will not go well for the health of the group.
It means one group holding things back for the interest of their own group or to make their own group exceptional.
Somebody may have a mentor to whom he runs to in time of need but to me I don't encourage forming a group inside a group which will definitely do harm to the existing community.
This is my mind about this.
