The LEARNING Never Stops - Thankful For The Correction
Last Update: Feb 7, 2023
I Owe A Few Coffees - Or Beers
I just updated my last Wealthy Affiliate (WA) blog post.
If or when I am ever close, Diane (DianeScorpio), Jovo (jvranjes) and Remit (RemitLimited) deserve a coffee or a beer for their corrections and clarifications.
It is something I have been confused about for a long time.
Sessions?
Impressions?
Clicks?
What do they all mean really and how do they apply to the traffic goals I have set for myself.
Not One To Lose Sleep
Mistakes happen and understanding some things takes longer than others.
Instead of losing sleep, I decided, once and for all to kick this misunderstanding in the butt.
I went straight to the horse himself, Google:
1. What are Impressions, Positions and Clicks?
Last night, I completed Google Analytics for Beginners. It is never too late.
And, I set up the right Filters and Goals to help me manage my progress.
Now, I get it!
Remember this: If you are not getting the results that you want, focus on your learning and understanding and then, Change Your Script!

Setting up goals is something I must do. This week has been crazy, have worked my tail off but still have so much to do.
The good news is it looks like I will be hosting a website for definitely 1, maybe 2 other people.
Haha, I know I'm working a lot when "Nga" starts complaining I never get an early nights sleep. Must be time for a lunch out. I wonder if I can shoot a video..lol.

You are like me, Stephen, never a down moment.
There is so much to do and so much excitement to get where I am going.
Loving it!

Thanks for the reminder! I've been meaning to continue with the free Google Analytics Academy training myself.

Good morning Cassi,
The great thing is that you are willing to learn and admit your mistakes; it happens to us all!
We never stop learning! There's a lot to understand with Google analytics; the great thing is that we can normally find the answer on Wealthy Affiliate or Google!
I think we need to be willing to change our script continually!
Have a great day.

This resonates for me, Roy:
"we need to be willing to change our script continually!"
Well said.
Cassi
It's a good punchline that you have, Cassi and something that we all seriously need to be looking at. It's easy to get stale or not use our full potential!
Have a great day.
