Who Are You Lying To?
Who are you lying to?That is a question you need to answer.
One of the books that I recommend to people when they ask me what to read to help them get the right mindset to succeed is "Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz
If you have not read it then it is a great book to read. If you have read it and have not read it in a while it might be worth reading.
The First Agreement
Is Be Impeccable With Your Word.
Now I know many of you and I know that you are very truthful people. That is not the problem. That is not the lies that hold us back.
That is not the lies that can ruinourbusinesses.
That is not thelies that keeps us from trying.
The lies we tell that affect our lives are the lies we tell ourselves. Those are the lies that keep us from moving forward.
I can not do this.
I am not smart enough.
I am to old.
I cannot learn like I did when I was younger.
I do not know enough about computers.
I am to sick.
I do not have time.
I have never done anything right.
I have tried before built failed and know I cannot do it.
And many more.
We are very careful to tell other people the truth but yet we lie to ourselves on a regular basis.
Even if you do not tell yourself the above lies have you ever told yourself you were going to do something and then did not do it when you said you would?
How do you change what you are doing?
I believe in you now it is time for you to.
You can do this.
I know that you can as I have seen many people succeed over the years.
I know I have been doing a lot of blog posts about this lately. I am going to keep doing it until I quit hearing in PMs how because of one thing or another someone can not do this or do it as well as someone else.
Yes You Can Do This
Onward and Upward

I just adore this book. and although I have read it a few times.. i think i might be cuddling with it this weekend..lol.. and it is amazing the difference that happens when we choose to see us as YES WE CAN instead of not believing. Thanks for the reminder Encourager-in-Chief.
Yes, a few people I have been talking to have been dragging and there is no reason to. They are good people who can do this but just need to be reminded of that.
Speaking from experience it is easy to get overwhelmed and doubt if it's possible. I go from that to determination at least 3 times a day.
Lying to yourself is a form of self-sabotage and can definitely hinder your progress in all of life.
My Father gave me that book some time ago and I have been meaning to read it. Must be a sign!
Thanks,
Marcus

Thanks for the constant reminder to believe in ourself. No matter how positive minded we are, there will be a time when we need a special uplift.
Keep them coming, Bo.
With thanks,
Sharon
