Learning and Laughter 12 - Sharing WA on Google Plus

Many of you may have noticed that sharing content from Wealthy Affiliate on Google+ has resulted in it being removed and in some cases you have received a warning email from Google. It seems that sometime back in 2013, Google stopped accepting content that is from the my.wealthyaffiliate URL, and tagging it as spam.

I know I had received a warning email to stop sharing WA content on Google+ and if I continued to try and post, that my account would be closed for spamming. No one really knows for sure how this came about but it is here and it is enforced by Google. They do not always warn you but they will always remove your shared post.

THE WORK AROUND

Because of the WA ban on Google+ it is very difficult to share your WA affiliate link, but there is a work around. In order to share WA affiliate links on Google+ you will need one of the following - your own WA promotional website, a Facebook account, a Pinterest account, or an Instagram account.

Google+ will not block you own website content that contains WA affiliate links, and this is one way I get my WA affiliate links onto Google+. But if you do not have a WA promotional website there are a couple more ways I get my affiliate links onto Google+. I do this by sharing my Facebook and Pinterest “Photo” posts.

Yes this may seem to be a little more work than some may want to do just to share a WA affiliate link, but if you are being paid for WA referrals, I think it is worth the added steps. Plus for me, I have over 1,400 non WA followers on Google+, which continues to grow every day, and those are potential referrals.

WHAT I DO

When I share on Facebook, I share the same way as I do on Pinterest (which is the only way you can share on Pinterest), I post a relevant picture, write a short description, and paste my WA affiliate link at the end of the description. Then I post the picture to Facebook. In Pinterest I also paste my WA affiliate link at the end of my brief description.

Then once those photo shares are posted on either Facebook or Pinterest, I copy the URL of that post and then paste it into my Google+ account. Now I am able to share my.wealthyaffiliate affiliate links on Google+ without having them know that that is what I am actually sharing because it is within a Facebook or Pinterest link.

The two above images are what a Facebook (top image) and a Pinterest (bottom image) shares of my WA affiliate link looks like on Google+. So if you were ever wondering how you could share your WA affiliate link on Google+, these are the ways to do it without having Google delete them or warn you about spamming G+. NOTE: Masking the WA affiliate link does not seem to work. Google still knows that it is a WA affiliate link.

SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO IMPROVISE

IS YOUR CHILD GETTING OUT OF HAND?

THERE ARE WAYS TO IMPROVISE

AND KEEP THEM IN CONTROL…

WHAT DO YOU DO

WHEN YOU WANT TOASTED MARSHMALLOWS

AND S'MORES WHILE SITTING IN YOUR

BACKYARD BY THE FIRE PIT?

DON’T HAVE A BOWL FOR YOUR POPCORN

WHILE SITTING AT THE COMPUTER?

THIS IS GREAT FOR CATCHING

ANY THAT FALL FROM YOUR MOUTH.

NO NEED TO GET YOUR HANDS ALL

GREASY WITH BUTTER WHILE

EATING CORN ON THE COB. GENIUS!

And when it comes to improvising sometimes the best place to see it is from funny man himself, Mr. Bean. Click this link of Mr. Bean has lunch for a great laugh. Enjoy!

Perfect idea, thank you!

You are welcome Nemira.

OK - would it be too weird if I said I love you Robert ?

You always have excellent information to pass along and every Sunday you are way better than the daily comics!

Keep it coming man!

ROCK ON!

Uh............yeah? Like is fine with me. lol

Love Mr. Bean! I may never eat lunch again :) Great blog and advice, thank you.

I doubt I would want any lettuce on my sandwich. Who knows what smelly sock it came out of. lol

Lol, sometimes I feel like duct taping my little sister like that. Sometimes not always. Love how you got around Google+, very creative, that ale must really work lol. Thanks for the info and the laughs Robert. Love that Mr.Bean:)

Ale has played a big part in the creativity of many things in my life. :) The video game company I used to work for would have company lunches at a local micro brewery. The video game ideas we came up with were quite interesting. lol

Lol, that's awesome Robert, hey whatever works right? Apparently it has been working very well for you:)

Don't believe that I drink often because ale only enhances what you already have. "pat myself on the back" lol

Lol, yes you're the man Robert. You have the right to "pat yourself on the back"

Once again you make me :-D

Well that makes me :) whenever I can make you:) lol

Thanks for the information Robert.

You are welcome Monte.

Robert
As ever a great blog. Good input on Google+ - I'm not quite there yet.
Rowan Atkinson and I both went to the same school(St Bees School) which is in the process of being closed after over 400 years, unless the rescue team come up with a reprieve.
Bon chance, David

Thanks David. Wow! 400 years? That's an OLD school!

Great info Robert. My Google account was instantly removed when I first set it up a few weeks ago for this very reason. I have a new one now and have figured out the rules where WA is concerned. Your info will be a great help to any newbies like me who got deleted. Warmly, Heather PS: love the funnies!

After I noticed that a few of my posts were deleted and then after I got the email warning from Google to stop spamming, I had to find other ways to work around the problem.

Thanks. Its awesome to me how people can take simply things to make you say,"why I didn't think of that." Lol

We all have our ways of improvising but not all of can improvise on everything. :)

Well said Robert, love the images, Mr Bean is just too much. rofl Thanks for the shares. :)

You are welcome Evelyn. Mr. Bean cracks me up! LOL

Thanks for the picture Robert now I know how I can get a quiet day with the kids

HaHa Just make sure to have a lot of duct tape. :)

It's just before I think they thought it might be fun to try, wondering what their mom says if she sees them hanging on the wall

She probably wouldn't like it. :)
