We all have something we really like or enjoy doing. Being that it is now baseball season, I enjoy going to games in New York at Yankee Stadium. Though it can be an expensive experience, I don’t mind treating myself.

As an affiliate marketer I can have multiple websites that promote different niches. Though it is always important to start building with just one website at a time, once the website is mostly complete I can start another.
Let us say my first website was about the history of both the original and new Yankee Stadiums. On this website I could not just reveal facts and trivia about the stadiums, but I could also offer relevant baseball products.
These could be collectible photos and pieces of the old stadium. I could also promote other NY Yankees related items including jerseys, caps and souvenir-type products. How will people be able to purchase these?

When someone reading my blog becomes excited to own the products I am recommending, they click on the link, go to the shopping cart of the website I am affiliated with, make the purchase, and I get paid a commission.
IT IS AN EASY MONEY MAKING PROCESS
I can repeat the same affiliate marketing process and create another website about the different hiking trails I have tried in the NY and NJ area. On this website I could offer tips and historical facts about the trails.
In addition I could recommend different kinds of waterproof hiking boots, backpacks, cargo pants and shorts, plus other related items. Again I would place affiliate links in my content and get a commission for each sale.
This is how affiliate marketing works, and I could do the same with my other passions and hobbies I listed above. Though the process is simple, there are things you need to learn and be a part of in order to succeed.

I've been here at WA a little over 2 months now. I have 3 websites.
When do you think a website is developed enough to move to creating the next site?
How often do you update with new content the older sites to keep them active?
My plan was to keep working these 3 sites until they are productive.
Does that sound like a good plan?
The most experienced members of WA suggest even that we concentrate on just one website in order to make it work and earn money. When it starts earning, proceed with other sites. It's not very likely that you will have enough time and energy and creative ideas to develop three at the same time. Though, people are different. Maybe you can.:)

Personally I could not handle creating three at the same time. Like Kyle says in his training, one website at a time is enough.
Doing more than one at the same time will actually slow down your earnings because you really need to have about two dozen posts for Google to start pushing you up in the rankings.
It's not enough. You will need to engage social media to help get traffic to the site, do a lot of research. Some of your articles should be really deep , and you can't last long on your current knowledge. Again, comments, sites' updates, products reviews. Big work really.
But of course, do whatever you feel is right.:)
Yes, it's very much about focusing on one thing and making it better and better.Another thing is if you understand the direction is wrong and you need to change it, but it's different.:)
I created my 1st site during the certification training, then I started my 2nd one after completion. I then created my 3rd when I started Bootcamp to champion WA.
I have been seeing real progress with my 1st website and my 3rd one. I will probably concentrate on those two mainly.
I have been engaging social media daily to promote these sites.
This is really good advice and I haven't heard before the number of post google is looking for to really started boosting your site. Very helpful.
As life is a series of adjustments, so will my efforts to concentrate on getting better at this thing called affiliate marketing.
Advise from the more experienced is invaluable to a beginner such as me.

You are welcome. Just make sure you have dozens of posts that are no less than 1,000 words long.
Ideally it should be closer to 2,000 because the more in depth the post, the more Google will like it.
But don't stuff your posts with meaningless fluff content to reach a higher word count. Google will see right through your efforts to do that.
