Too often I see people wondering about how to write content for a website that will make it get high rankings in Google. That question is definitely the wrong approach in how you should go about creating your content. Do you ask yourself that question when writing an email to a friend of yours about what just happened in your life?

CONTENT IS CONTENT

When typing up the words to be displayed on your website, there really should not be much thought that goes into how you will be using your keywords. There are only 2 or 3 places that it should go, no need to try and fit them in any more than those couple of times. Your content should flow naturally, as if you are holding a one-sided conversation with a friend.

That is all content really is, a passing on of information in written form. There is no need to be including your target keyword more than twice within your content. Your content is meant for your website reader and not the search engines. So write your content naturally and for the benefit of your website visitors.

Do not get distracted into thinking that your keywords need to appear multiple times within your content. When your website visitor sees the keyword in your page or post title and then sees it again in the first paragraph of your content, they do not need to see it again to know what your content is about. Remember, Google wants to see content that is written for your visitor and not Google.

DISTRACTION IS NOT ALWAYS BENEFICIAL

When it comes to the way someone would construct their website content, the last thing you want to do is get distracted into thinking that you are not using enough keywords. For example, the keyword I chose for this post is "how to write content for a website." Up until this point I have only mentioned the keyword within my content twice, in the first paragraph and at the end of the prior sentence.

With these two mentions, along with the keyword in the title, there is no beneficial reason for me to mention the keyword again. This post has more than enough keywords, about 6 of them, that are the two mentions of the original target keyword and four LSI keywords. These are "creating your content," "typing up the words," "write your content naturally," and "construct their website content."

By using these LSI keywords or synonyms of the target keyword, I can get more keywords naturally in my content without over-using my target keyword and making the content read like a distraction to my website visitors. Google favors LSI keywords but does not favor you using your target keyword more than a couple of times within your content. To learn more about the use of LSI keywords, see the link below.

NOW THIS IS A PRODUCT NAME THAT MADE ME LAUGH AND WAS EYE CATCHING.

IN THIS CASE THE PICTURE IS DISTRACTING. I REMEMBER AS A LITTLE BOY WANTING TO PLAY COWBOYS AND INDIANS WITH THIS WOMAN WHERE I WOULD BE THE CAPTURED INDIAN...WAS THAT TOO MUCH INFO? OH THE MIND OF A CHILD WITH BUDDING HORMONES. LOL

HEY! WHO WANTS TO SWALLOW SOME BALLS? THIS WOULD PROBABLY GO GOOD WITH THE PRODUCT THREE PICTURES ABOVE. WHILE EATING SOME SWALLOW BALLS YOU CAN BURN THE CANDLE CALLED SMELL MY NUTS. lol

But enough with the distracting words. There are times when words in one country will mean something different in another country.
