I don't know if the following link will provide all that you need.

I am not sure how All in One SEO will handle G4.

Miraculously I created a new website but had some old GA account that I could change to use for it. So I have no experience with G4

I am starting a new website in a niche that is0 in my opinion, totally female oriented. I certainly don't know of any males that would be involved in it.

and NO it is

When you do your 'about me' page, just be yourself and explain why this particular subject interest you, and why you had to write about it. (...also don't forget to post your pic).

Definitely don’t pretend to be female.

Hey Lawrence,

Recently, I watched a video of a fella speaking about a female problem, and he right out and stated something like, "what right do I have to speak about this female problem, I'm guessing that most of you are wondering right now..." and then he started speaking from his wife's experience and what the two of them decided to bring to females everywhere, given her great experience with whatever that product or service was.

Wish I could remember because you could certainly learn from his video introduction.

However, you could say something like... you and your wife have teamed up together, given your skills at creating a great website for female viewers to learn from and your wife's great experience with...

If you don't have a wife, you could always use a sister... niece... or girlfriend for that matter.

Hope you find this helpful.

Hmm..gender issues sounds difficult. I tend to err on the side of trying to be politically correct. These days we have other terms for gender identity so I wouldn’t know how to answer that. My concern would be to steer clear from gender bias. It can be uncomfortable. I would stick to a niche that I am passionate about than to focus on gender stuff. I know some women sell men’s watches or men selling women’s plus size clothing as an affiliate. It can be done. Just be honest, pretending would be misleading and false advertising, I wouldn’t go that way. Just be honest and to the point. Hope that helps. Best wishes to you in whatever you choose.

Thanks Brenda.
I will steer clear of bias and politically correct is the way to go.
for blog post editor I think I will just stick with author "Admin".
The articles/blogs?reviews etc. can be totally gender neutral and should be fine.
I think writing out my question (rather than thinking about it) cleared my head.
I've made a start on the static home page and of course it can always be changed.
No analytics code inserted yet and I have saved as draught for now.
Thanks for answering - most appreciated.

I am of course referring to the infamous Amazon "One Link"

My question is where and how often must I put this thing?
There is provision for it on each page of Element

If you have 1000 words you could put 3 links, for me.

Not the question - I'm asking abut Amazon's "One Link" which is a different thing altogether

Amazon is designating only the country you are in or the place you want to do business. This is my understanding, Lawrence. Well, I think it is answered below. Stay safe. Cheers!

Hey Lawrence,

The following tutorial may provide your the help you seek: Hope this helps you.

Thanks - I used that before but I'm not getting any clicks outside of US which seems strange.

Why would that seem strange? More Americans purchase online than any other country.

Have you had another member test your OneLink from any other country but the USA? That's pretty much the only way you will know for certain if your OneLink is working... or not.

What other country's Amazon have you signed up and received acceptance for?

Hi guys, for those using Elementor (WP theme) do you know if the Amazon OneLink code needs to be included (freshly inserted) on every post or should it be placed somewhere else

Looks like feigner has answered
Tim

the one link code should be included in the footer
and if using elementor i would still use a plugin to add it
i could recommend ad inserter as this is compatible with elementor for scripts and ads
have fun
phil

Thanks Phil - are you saying it should be in the footer of the main code?
I am still at a loss.
I'm not even sure if the OneLink is always the same code - maybe I should check that first.
*trots off to Amazon

if you ad ad inserter then add the onelink code into the footer section - and activate the footer section in ad inserter plugin you will be ok.
it is always the same code and adding it this way ensures that it is on every page of your site.
check out my google activation training for use of ad inserter -you will use the footer instead of the head section

Thanks Phil. Inserting it once is so much easier

Hey Lawrence,

Perhaps if a member who is located in the UK could test your Amazon link for you that might be your best bet.

Then if it is not working you can try to find a resolve.

Hope you find this helpful.

Clever girl
hopefully someone over there will volunteer

Hi - I am in the UK and happy to check. You add the code to the footer of your website, not to every post. Not sure if Elementor is different, but the easiest way is to install a plugin.

I have several Amazon tracking IDs and confuse myself with them.
I'm not sure how to select a particular one when promoting products and it seems all links default to my or

It is better to use the SiteStripe. This feature will automatically create links on the product page you want to promote. Whenever you open a page in Amazon, the affiliate links are auto generated at the upper side of the page. However, Native Ads links need to create by yourself. There is an instruction inside the paltform on how to create one.

Interesting - do I find this in my affiliate dashboard?
Going to take a look now

Yes. I think you need to activate it.

Great advise from Triblu
Tim

Hey Lawrence,

You need to go into your Amazon Associate account, locate their contact information for their Affiliates to use and ask them for assistance.

If you telephone them you may get a better explanation when you are in front of your computer so they can walk you through what needs to be done.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks - phoning is not an option from New Zealand.
I have been on the discussion boards to see if someone else has had similar issues but so far no luck.
All the best

You CAN email an Amazon affiliate tech suppor person for help too Lawrence, as they provide their Associates with different means of communicating with them. I only suggested telephoning as that would have been ideal.
