How to check that your Google images are free to use, share and modify
If, like me, you are cautious about using Google Images as you are not sure which images are free or just an excuse to sue me, this way of finding out may help.
1. Go to Google.com and enter your search term e.g. daisies
2. Click "Images" at the top of the page
3. At the far right side of the screen, click the "Gear" tool shaped like a flower then select Advanced Search.
4. Scroll towards the bottom and select "Free to use/share" in section marked Usage Rights.
5. Click Advanced Search and only those images which are free to us will appear.
Hope this helps
Gill

Thanks for sharing. I also noticed there is a royalty free for modification and commercial use which is great. Debbie
Thank you so much for this post . I just asked a question a couple of days ago related to this .
Very good advice. I didn't know that. Thank You. Lately I have been getting organic hits on my site from Google image search. Do you know how I can tell what images they are hunting for ? Tom
Hi t d did you post or submit something shortly before the hits started occurring? That is the only way I know of establishing what causes Google attention.
