I know you said you are running the same plugins on both of your sites but only one is experiencing a problem. Plugins are a funny thing. They can result in a conflict on one site and not another simply because of a different theme, or settings, or the order they were installed.
Your problem is likely a conflict between plugins. You are going to have to do some troubleshooting. I would start by disabling all of the plugins on the misbehaving site to see if the problems go away. If it does, then you know it is a plugin issue. Then enable the plugins one by one to find the culprit.
If it doesn't go away with all of the plugins off then it may be a setting within your theme. Try a different theme just as a test.
Yes, I know that plug-ins can behave peculiar. I have to disable them to see who is the culprit. I have the same theme on both sites, Pagelines.
I am not sure then. That was the only thing I could think of that might cause the post to keep showing up on the top of your blog
I haven't had that problem on my site either. Maybe it's in your appearance settings. You can set the posts arrangement in your settings.
