Paying it Forward at Wealthy Affiliate, How About A Gratitude Niche?

So today was gorgeous, full of sunshine and I just knew it was an adventure day. You know those kinds of days when staying inside is just not an option, yes?

And since I have just started being able to drive again, I just can't let a beautiful day not be an adventure. Or even take for granted the joy of having a car. What gratitude!

I like to get lost when I go on my adventure days.it means there is always the challenge of determining my own skill sets and how to beat any type of trepidation and it's also always a new discovery right?

But well, today had it's own slant. Do laugh..it's OK.

Where I live is beautiful and mountainous. With scenic roads and waterfalls close drives away. So I googled another direction I had not really explored and found this water fall called Sunburst Falls.

Well I don't know about you, but just the name got me ready to go see it. So off I go, ready for whatever this new journey was going to be.

And it did indeed lead me. It was supposed to be under an hour drive each way. As I was approaching my two hour limit one way, arghh, I am really wondering what is going on.

But the views are gorgeous I am not tied to any time, this is just being in the moment.

Finally, I do get to a town or rather a tiny village, that is called Sunburst. Yay I must be close. Tiny mountain town, river running through it, mountains in the background..yeah..beautiful.

And the reason I wanted to find a waterfall was to spend a few hours in meditation space. So I was really looking forward to this.

So my GPS says turn left, so I turned left. I do at times listen to the GPS. lol.

And it's beautifully wooded with the river to the right of me. Just tootling along and the road becomes a dirt road. Is that a good sign?

Ummm not sure.

But hey the GPS said to do it. And then suddenly there is a high fence with big signs NO TRESPASSING.

Huh? Really? Well GPS you did not do your duty today..LOL.

So I thought turn around obviously..and head out. . And as I do I lose the GPS signal, Yup it's gone. But then again, it seemed to have left already.

And the road is having now three options to turn.

Which way to go? Of course, I did not remember which way I had come. And I am not going to talk about the metaphor of taking the right turn.

I just picked one and drove, and drove and drove and drove. And the only thing around me was vast long range views of meadows and mountains. But still no GPS.

I thought perhaps I could stop and talk to a cow..but she would probably just ignore me.

Finally, I found a small street that has a few houses on it..and so typical of the Universe. A man drove into his country driveway.

Wow, I followed him so fast into his driveway.

When I told him I was lost, he just laughed and said, out here we do not get any reception. So no worries. I will be happy to give you directions. And he did!

I even wrote them down! Don't laugh. You would have too.yes?

I just said it's blonde old woman thing..and he just smiled.

But you know that sense of relief and gratitude, when you realize we need help and that special angel just always shows up?

Yup, that was this moment. I could not thank him enough.

And so I drove away clutching my written directions and had this sense I would somehow make it back home today.

And I really held that space of gratitude for quite a bit.

And I thought about how here at WA we always do these kind things. We help each other out when we feel lost or discouraged or just need a new directional instruction. And we do pay it forward.

So I thought wow, how do I pay it forward to thank this man who really helped me out with directions?

And in my head I am going I bet it will show itself.

Yup another story here or still..LOL

Finally a gas station showed up. Whew, a sign of a town...

And as I pulled in to get gas, the man standing next to me was really agitated. He had his young son with him, and realized that he had left his wallet at his home 5 hours away. And now he needed gas and food for his son. And, he still had another 3 hour drive to his destination.

Hmmm. Wow that pay it forward thing happened really fast, yes?

So luckily there was an ATM in this gas station convenience store and I just gave him some money.

And I just drove away.

Great story yes?

Because someone was kind enough to help me, I did not hesitate to help another. And it felt like it was all how destiny and the Universe wanted it to be.

So the lesson here? Paying it forward and living in gratitude. It makes the world such a lovely connecting place, doesn't it?

And it also feels so familiar too because that is what we do here at WA on a daily basis.

So Let's not just let it be here on our fantabulous platform. Let's do do share it wherever we can. Just never know whose life was just changed.

And so it also made me think about wanting to have a gratitude niche. Where people can tell their stories just like this. Wouldn't that be such a feel good site?

Hmmm I am sure there are many outs there like that. But wouldn't if be fun if it was WA specific?. Stay tuned.LOL

Speaking of site and niches, a newbie asked me a question about finding our niche, and this is what I responded with.

I wondered how you all decided on your niche too?

This was my answer. I just thought it might be worth sharing.

Deciding How to Choose a Niche. Answer these questions and then look at your own responses.

1. What am I passionate about

2. What can I talk about for 5 to 10 years

3. What will bring me a sense of service

4.What will I learn from most

5. Can I fully monetize my passion

Sit down with these questions and write answers to each niche that you are thinking about, then looked at what added up. And an answer will show itself.

And then realize that once we learn how to do one site really well..then we can duplicate our success with another site.

So it's about using our first site to do all the hard work. Learning to earn essentially.

I know this worked for me. I so hope it works for others.

But back to gratitude...

I think it's is a kinda universal currency. And it never empties. So never worry about giving, it always comes back in multitudes.

So off we go for another adventure, whether it be our niche or paying it forward.

What is your adventure looking like?

In peace and gratitude,

Hi Ariel,

From your post I am reminded, help is always available in our hour of need. We are never alone wherever we are. WA members demonstrate this everyday.

I will pay it forward with acknowledgements, encouragement or in any way I can.

Thank you for this opportunity to reflect on what I can do.
Lovetta**

I loved reading your story Ariel, although I was conscious and concerned that you could run out of petrol way out in isolation.

Amazing how our minds work. Why was I so concerned when I knew you survived to tell the story.

I believe strongly in gratefulness. I start each by being grateful. I learned much about gratefulness and how to attract things into my life. I think a huge percentage of the global population became aware of that in 2006 when Rhonda Byrne's 'The Secret' was published.

Disappointingly, about a week ago my thoughts on gratefulness were similar to what you have expressed in your post. I went online to read reviews about The Secret and was horrified with what I read.

I suppose it is like anything else. Results come from from what we believe in. Anyway, I believe in developing a positive mindset and continually practicing gratefulness. This helps me to cope with a breathing issue I live with.

I will be interested to read comments left by other WA members.

Thanks for sharing your story, Ariel.

Valerie

Hello Valerie, thank you so much for sharing all of this. No matter what our disappointments are, we always have the power to change that thought into a gift. And that is the way that I live my life. And it seems that you do also. And in this is great power. For we find the flow rather than the wall. Yes?
I wish you easier breathing and loads of comfort wrapped in blessings.

Thank you so much Ariel, for your lovely message. It gave me great pleasure reading your kind words.

Very inspiring post Ariel. Yes this world will be a better place if everyone is able to pay it forward or always offer help without expecting anything in return. I do believe angels are always there for us. That would be a very nice niche . Go for it. Good luck!

Thank you! It is amazing how the Universe responds when we respond in loving compassion..yes?

It was gorgeous day here too! :D I didn't get to drive two hours to the isolated area but I drove 30-40 min away and enjoyed nature near me too.

Your experience reminds me that we can't live alone, nor are we supposed to. We are supposed to help each other as I believe God created us human in that way. After helping others, we all have a sense of fulfillment or accomplishment, don't we?

Paying it forward is a positive energy flowing through all of us to meet and match those in need and those who want to help. You were in the middle of that very positive energy flow!

Kyoko

Hello Kyoko, I so believe you are right! And I hope that it forever stays that way!
So glad you had a lovely day too. And we are never alone, you are so right. WE just have to know that and live it.yes?

Hi Ariel, I enjoyed reading about your adventure. Life is a big adventure and it is good to take time out to have gratitude for the things which help you along the way, such as freedom to choose, good health, sufficient wealth to access things which we need. My own adventure took an unexpected twist recently which means I have less time to spend on WA, nevertheless I am grateful for that opportunity to contribute in another way, its all good. Best Alan

Hello Alan, and don't you find those unexpected twists bring the most amazing gifts? I am sure you are doing great work. So glad you still find time to be here. I wish you great soaring success in whatever you do. Thanks so much for being here.

Oh, Ariel, you are such a special individual! Gorgeous story. So... Am I correct in assuming you never found Sunburst Falls? Yet somehow it seems to me you meditated all day, while driving in all that magnificence... You were breathing it in... Because your consciousness in identifying the opportunity to give back at the gas station is one of someone deeply in meditation. Actually, I'm just starting to learn, through you, what it's like to live a life I'm constant, moving meditation. To live a conscious life. Astounding. Magical. Inspirational.

Hello Lovely one..I did not ever see the falls LOL. You are correct. And yes you are so right it was a full day meditation and then even more when I came home.. i went to my river and just sat for a bit.

Oh you give me too much credit.. you are already there! Thank you !
But is it not the most beautiful way to live? I mean we do stumble sometimes, but it seems like when a new lesson presents itself..it turns into a gift..and that is joy..yes?

You said it so well...living consciously is a realm of amazing proportions! Thank you as always!

Hi Ariel, great story, and it's true when you pay it forward it does seem to return to you tenfold and the sense of satisfaction is a great feeling. I have been a bit down last few weeks, struggling to write as usual, but you never fail to lift me with your heart warming, calming stories that always seem to put things in perspective for me. Thank you Ariel.
Jenny

Hello Jenny, I am so sorry you are feeling down. Please do PM me if you want to talk ok?
I wish you ease and comfort and knowing that some times these stumbling blocks are really new openings for great paths..I know you will not stay where you are...and I still see your light shining.

Thanks Ariel for your kind words and the offer to PM you, it is appreciated.
Jenny

I enjoyed your blog and I like the images you had chosen where did you get them from. I am having a difficult time finding free images to put on my website and every time that I think that I found free images some other port pops up with a cost to down load but anyway you did a great blog congrats.

Mary

Hello Mary, Pixabay.com is where I get all my royalty free pictures from. If you also use our Site Content and write blogs here on this space, when you write a blog there is a media button and you can input your search. Those pictures are also from Pixabay. So have fun! Let me know if you need anything else!
Thanks for being here!

Thank you so much i appreciate it that very much for the information. And great blog once again.

Awesome post. As someone once told me what goes around. It was wonderful that you had the opportunity to pay it forward so quickly. Most of the time it happens when we completely have forgotten when someone gave us the help we needed at the right time. And I do agree with you we need a gratitude niche although they may have to archive it daily.
Thanks for the post.
Jerry

Hello Jerry, so true! So that added to my gratitude, indeed.
Hmmm it would be interesting to have that though..yes? Thanks so much as always for being so supportive.

So you had a real adventure... even if it was more than you had bargained for.

And how wonderful that an opportunity to really show your gratitude presented itself so soon. And the beauty is that you have helped that man but you yourself probably felt all warm and glowing inside, happy that you had in turn be able to help someone else.

We can all apply the WA principle of paying it forward also to outside WA... let's see how that makes us all feel and how we can make a difference, each one of us locally, but because we are spread out over the world, we can actually spread this message globally.

As always, thank you for a very inspiring post.

~ Isabella

Hello Isabella, i know it was amazing how it happened. I did not even think about it. It was just what was needed. And I thanked the Universe for giving me this opportunity.
Oh I so like that vision of yours and ours..spread it out all over this glorious globe! YES WE CAN!
