Hi Andy,

Check out the screen print below... and then run the same or similar search in order to find the tutorial to help you do this.

The reason I've suggested this is that there are too many steps that you will need to take in doing this... and that training is not available here on the WA platform.

If you want the EXACT search phrase that I used...
"how to setup yahoo mail to use my domain email address when responding to forwarded emails"

Hope you find this helpful.

Hi everyone, just wondered as I use images on my website from Pixabay and other free stock sites, is there a way to be notified when that image doesn't show anymore? You know w

Lots of great information provided Andy.

All the best,
Michael

First you need upload your image to your media library and edit them. After of which you may input in your posts and pages.

If you edited a document in site content and published it, future edits has to be done in WordPress. Site content and WordPress work independently.

I'd place my images in a document in site content and publish it to my site. it will be added to my WordPress media library. Then delete the “temporary image” doc in site content so that it does not get indexed as well.

You can either access via site content area - websites tab top menu

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/content

I click the highlighted mountain button. Or

This won't happen if you upload the image to your media library. Always do that, rather than including a link to the image on the source website, as then the control is out of your hands.

Hey Andy,

Kyle's advice is a PERFECT solution to your images disappearing like that.

However, if you want to know about broken links automatically, you could use a plugin (see screen print below for suggestion of a plugin to use) or use the following method, so you won't need another plugin: Hope you find this helpful.

You can use these, but you shouldn't "hot link" to images. Download them, then upload them into your content or if you are using SiteContent, you can add images directly into your content from there. Once they are published on your website, they will remain on your website.

Hi, also being a UK resident I have also hit this issue.
As stated some networks require the w-8 form.
Some independent US affiliate sites have also asked for a Social security orITIN no. that then becomes more of an issue.

Also AWIN blew me out last time as i did not have enough content.
I will try again at a later stage of my niche development.

Hey Dave, I'm the Awin representative her at WA. I'm glad to help you through the application process, and I'd be glad to take a look at your site to ensure that you're ready to join our network.

Hi Jeannine,

Great, thanks.

I was going to come back to you when I saw your earlier post.
AWIN are the network that have the BlueSeventy range so would be very useful. I did apply a couple of years back but no luck.
My site is https://openwaterswimadvice.com/
and I am currently filling it out with content.

More specifically my Blue seventy review is https://openwaterswimadvice.com/blue-seventy-reaction-wetsuit-review-a-quality-mid-range-suit

Much appreciated if you could help.
Thanks again.

Dave

Hi, I have an old Awin publisher account that I would like to delete. as I am creating a new one more relevant to my current niche. I am on the Awin site under Manage accounts but I can not find the delete button. Thanks.

We don't have a delete button because the possibility of an accidental delete is just too great.

To close your account, just send an email to publishersuccess@awin.com with your request the details of your account.

Good luck with your new account!

Hi,

OK, great.
Thanks for the feedback.

HI, Jeannine and Diane got you covered.

Good question and interesting how things are done outside of the US. We have many deductions and changes each year, but we have to as a self employed person file taxes on income of various programs and businesses. We just give all our info to or accountant of 9 years and he files electronically each year. Our process is simple if you keep good records even though our tax Code is complicated.

I'm the Awin representative here at Wealthy Affiliate.

You do need to put in your personal details if your company isn't a VAT registered company. Regardless of that status, the national government requires you to pay taxes on any earnings from affiliate marketing, just like any other type of income.

In the US, non-US residents must complete a W-8 form, https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw8ben.pdf. If that form is not submitted, we are required by law to withhold 30% from all payouts.

For publishers working with the other Awin platforms, here's a guide from our FAQs that should answer your questions.

https://success.awin.com/s/article/Publisher-Tax-Details-FAQs

Hello from Nottingham! You are a Sole Trader, and therefore your company name is your own first and last name. As far as I am aware, you don't need to enter a local tax number or verification document unless you are in the US. Your commission is not taxed at source, you need to keep a record of your earnings for HMRC.

If you have any questions about Awin, you can contact Jeannine, who is their official representative.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/jeanninec

Thanks Diane, does that mean we do get taxed on what we earn from Awin?

Hi - strictly speaking, affiliates will be classed as self-employed – even if you still have another job working for someone else. As such, you should submit a self-assessment form to HMRC every year detailing commissions earned (not just from Awin, but also Amazon, etc) and what your outgoing expenses are.

If you register as self-employed and already have earnings from another source, this may affect the amount of tax you pay and you would also have to pay two lots of national insurance.

Obviously, I am not qualified in this area, and if you have any concerns, you should seek further advice.

You get taxed on what you earn from any network or in-house program.

Hey Andy,

Below is an easy to remember chart for you to use (and, anyone else who wants a copy of it).

Simply click on the image > and then right-mouse click on the image again > and select to Save Image As, if you are using Firefox, > then be sure to save it somewhere where you will remember to find it later.

Remember too, that these times are for "normal" days and NOT during this crisis. I'm sure that ANY time of day is perfect right now; simply because these are unprecedented times.

Hope you find this helpful.

In summary, yes :-)
Can I tell you when, no :-(

It really depends on your Niche, as to when they are online, as every demographic is different.

For example, the older population tend to be online first thing in the morning, whereas the younger population are late in to the night (as a very high level overview).

You'll need to do some research and testing, to find your trends for your niche

Thank you friend. The niche is kind of conquering arthritis pain so arthritis can affect any age group with seniors being the predominant range.

I understand your point and it makes sense I have also been thinking that the older crowd will more likely be on Facebook whereas the younger crowd have moved onto Instagram and TikTok.

Maybe I need to be up at the break of dawn for the posts on Facebook 😁

Thank you for replying 👍🏻

Or use a Social Media Posting Platform, so that you can schedule days, times and platforms all from one system. That way, you can spend upto 1 hour a week scheduling all the posts for the following week. Meaning you don't have to worry about missing a post, or about having to be in front of your computer, as you can do them in batches weeks ahead of when they go out :-)

Thank you very much for your responses and advice.

They have professional voiceovers at Fivver. I havent used them but you could close caption your youtube video with music in background. Just an idea. I am Deaf, I can talk but my voice will sound like not a normal speech like a person who can hear. My words I do not pronounce them correctly. I did get an offer for a voiceover from some Fivver but I didnt want to pay a lot of money for that as I do not have any. Sometimes can ask a friend to do voice for you, I have done that for some of my presentation projects. Or you can try finding a barter listing. I used to do a lot of bartering back then but now its all gonna be over the Internet, due to the COVID 19 panademic. Many different ideas you can do. Best wishes to you in finding what works for you.

it seriously is just practice - think that you are talking to a friend over the phone - you have the chance to record it - delete it and then record it again.
i was, and still am not comfortable recording my voice , but it is something you get used to.
there are voice changers for gamers- i was offered one the other day which was very cheap.
but you could probably do it through audacity - (free program)
one thing to remember is to slow down - leave what is effectively white space -this is the reason a lot have a soft music background.
this is what i did on my training videos here.
good luck with it
