Is it possible switch my Wordpress platform to Wix without changing my current site?
Thanks for your question regarding switching platforms. Wix is a proprietary site builder and as such will not actually be transferring WordPress to Wix, unless that is a service they offer. Likely, a new site will be built with Wix and DNS for the domain will be pointed there. Using the DNS information provided by Wix, you can use the cPanel DNS Zone Editor in your hosting account to point your domain.

I would like to know how to check where I'm indexed. Thanks in advance,
How to check what page on google my blogs are on?
I would like to know how to check where I'm indexed. Thanks in advance,
I have 2 categories for blogs, one is "Free Advice" and the other is "Interviews". The problem is that when I post something to "Interviews" it also shows up on "Free Advice".
Hi Arian - When you writing your post do you click on the appropriate category. If you have two categories they should be available on the right sidebar to choose from (see attached).
Make sure that on each post only the checkbox that you want the post to show under is checked. Make sure the other category's box is unchecked.
Alternatively, you could use a plugin that posts the posts by category to a page for you. I used to use one called Post to Pages. You can do a Google search and find one.
Hope this helps :)

In the back office of WP where all the posts are as shown here. I didn't manually add the SEO title or description. Are we supposed to do that? Thanks in advance.
description is all the top WA folks are telling me is necessary. The title comes with seo plug in.
Ideally you should add them in yes.
You will find a lot of people have different opinions about this.. you will also see that some people just ignore them and let them fill in automatically.
You can leave it to be done automatically, but this is your chance to put your own information in here to spice it up and make it more appealing.
In the Meta Title, just make sure your target keyword is within it.
In the Meta Description, ideally the same, make sure you Target Keyword is within the allowed amount of characters.. I think it is a 160 limit.
Personally I do them myself, and I have seen good results.
Hope this helps you
Chris
i never use them ... I was advised against it to be honest... There is no need for them really.. it just provides links to other posts and pages on your site... which are not always relevant!

Basically I want to have another blog roll for band interviews and have that as a posts page as well. How can I create another posts page in WP?
Thanks
Hi Arian, I think what you need to do is to just create your blog posts as normal, but categorise them as interviews and "regular blog" (whatever you choose).
Then when creating your menu, you add menu items from your categories. I'll see if I can find the post that explains it and update this with the link.
Cheers
