New Profile Picture
I have decided to "appear" to my WA community and post my picture instead of an image. Not only am I showing you my picture, hazy as it is, I am also letting you in on a marvelous moment in my life.
A few years ago my husband and I were golfing when I noticed this butterfly flitting around us. We continued golfing but I was aware of the butterfly.
As we were waiting at the next tee, (there was a group ahead of us), the butterfly came up and promptly landed on my visor!! It then fitted around some more and landed on my visor several more times. I captured this picture on one of those landings.
You may not see this as a business blog this morning, but I do. I am practicing vulnerability both with you and with my business. I believe being authentic and real is important in business so I'm taking this step by adding a picture of myself.
Thank you to those of you in this WA community who have supported me in these first months of my work here.
Blessings on the journey!!
Karen

Growing up I've was always a very private person, and that has been the hardest part for me, being willing to be more open and share my life with others. It took me forever before I even got up the courage to do a FB live video on my fan page. Being our real, and authentic selves are what helps visitors put their trust in what we are saying because we're a real person, not some unknown entity. Just keep plugging along, and with time the confidence will come.
Hi, Karen.
Beautiful picture and a very beautiful story behind it.
Being authentic and real is truly 'The Real Deal' when starting a business online (or off).
To your success. You are on the right track.
Good for you.
Kindest regards from Canada.

Hey Karen,
Vulnerability in business is very important. Prospective clients want to see you as you really are not who you pretend to be!! You need to gain their trust!!
