2023 and other afternoon thoughts.

This blog got out of hand, but it was great to help me think and see where I have been and where I am going?

I have spent a few hours on the en-couch thinking and writing. Very cathartic it is.

Wealthy Affiliate, Drop shipping, LinkedIn and more.

By pure chance I came across Wealthy Affiliate about 2 years ago. It was the luckiest thing that has happened to me business wise.

And without bragging ...beep...(Lie detector)....ok ..a little..beep.....ok, a lot... I was making excellent money, over a million a year...beep...ok 500,000 a year..beep...ok more than social security and the cost of a car..beep...a whistle...beep...ok a cardboard box, sheesh.

I was making a good salary and had a great boss...beep....come on it was me...beep beep beep..SMASH.

I was looking for additional income and initially thought about drop shipping, but it looked like a logistical nightmare.

And a lot of this work is done by the likes of amazon etc, but I noticed those successful like David .................., had his warehouse and staff. He was also offering to set you up for $5,000 (Strength in numbers). A lot I have now forgotten, but I dived in deep to look at it and decided it was not for me.

And after looking at print as you go for T-Shirts, mugs etc and a couple of other things as well as being asked to join an import company from Laos (You won't find it in any registered business accounts,lol) I came across Wealthy Affiliate.

The last 2 years have had some small wins, but frustratingly more setbacks than wins. Thus, the reason for the moral support from those here who inspire me with selfless giving and the motivation to get your ass out of bed and into the affiliate chair. Although from what I have been reading and the latest post I did on my MMO site, kool affiliates, (K.A.F....Lol.) we should be standing a lot more. fat feet are better than a fat stomach. lol.

The Motivators.

You know who you are, because I talk to you. As my middle age DNA slows down, it becomes harder to get off the en-couch or en-sofa (Furniture that originated in India that just seems to go on and on forever. lol) So, a huge thanks to those who get me off my wary ass.

The Givers.

those people who spend so much of their time writing amazing blogs that help and invariably motivate at the same time. With people like Cassi, Partha, Diane, Andre, Phil, The Abies (so good, they come as a double package- buy one, get one free), and if I haven't mentioned you it means I don't want to share you with anyone else.

There are so many members who help, it is impossible to remember you all.

The Owners and Support Staff.

When we need them, they are there. However, we often forget them when thanking everyone. So, a huge thank you for your ongoing support and forgive us for our sometimes-expressive expletives.

2023.

Lock and load, I have this year in my sights and so should you. There are some amazing tools that Social media is now providing and so we can all benefit we should all share. There is enough for everyone to go around, and more than once too.

If you look and are active on the platforms, we (Or me at least) promote on we can find stuff that actually helps. Wow, they are interested in more "customers" and are willing to help as well.

Linkedin (Cassi you probably know) are offering another way we can get more readers and followers called "Creator Mode".

Wth this you have more ways to get in front and excite people without taking your pants off...beep..huh, the last breath.

Creator Mode at LinkedIn means you can add your website to your profile image and send Newsletters, inter-react live and do something with audio which I haven't looked at yet.

Final Thoughts

I can look back at my last 2 years and cry or pick myself up, which I always do, and plow on.

The last 2 years have been learning and testing and writing and meeting some amazing people.

There is so much more to achieve and this year it will be a killer. My job placements are taking off and my products and services on offer are ready to rock n roll. And with Kyles help, even my MMO site will kick some serious butt.
