Today I received a notification from WordPress asking me to moderate a submitted comment.
The specific wording that they used was, "a new trackback is waiting for approval.

I'm glad you asked this question. I've received several of these notices lately. For the reasons you mentioned, I took them as spam and deleted them.
I'm hoping someone here can clarify this better.
I'm leaning towards spam but like you said, I am hoping for a better explanation than I have found.
Hopefully something from experience.

Yesterday, I published an article on my blog and today when I click on it I get the Oops...
Any ideas?
I just went in to my dashboard and added categories. Then I updated.
Then I updated the article.
That seems to have worked.
I had already tried to clear cache and refresh to no avail.
It looks to be fixed.

Why am I gettingan "oops, that page can't be found", when I click on my blog?

You can untick those in your Settings > Discussions and save the changes.
