I'm considering Tailwinds for my social media strategy. Has anyone successfully used it? Did it work?

I have heard of it, and successful stories, but not tried yet. I am glad to know for free trial period. Thanks for rising a question.

What are the characteristics of Tailwinds, what it enables? .You may want to make a list, positive and negative sides, see how it works, and decide.

Hope someone experienced in this will answer to you.

i have used Tailwind for awhile now. Great for scheduling pins for pinterest. Spread out your pins so you don't schedule them for the same time every day. Wednesdays seem to be rather popular for getting re-pinned.
Pam

Glad to see it's actually working for you. I will give it a try and see how it turns out,

I would use it for 30 days and see how you get on . Different niches have different results.

Thank you, doing that right away.

I have only used it for Pinterest like all the social networks consistency is key, using Tailwind will get reach on your pins but never really found that my pins got many more clicks, so I have moved away from Pinterest.

That said I know loads of people who have had great results you get 30 days to test drive tailwind so I would give it a go and see what results you get. Then decide if worth starting to pay for it.

Trust this helps :)
Martin

Perfect, thank you. I think I'll give it a go for the trial period and see how it turns out.

I'm a firm believer in providing value and that's why I'm thinking of going the social media way where I promote my informative social media posts so that people can see the va

Social media like any media takes time to build a following, and you have to follow thru as mentioned below.

That's what I've learned. Now I'm looking at it from the long term angle.

I ran a one week campaign for a site I made on another platform and it worked pretty well. Facebook drove traffic, but unfortunately not enough to get conversions.

It takes time. Twitter, IG and Facebook and time scheduling for you to get the viewer jump in to your website.

Thats what I'm afraid of

I'm thinking of tailwind for the social media scheduling and posting

It can be effective, it does take time and it’s important to follow up.

So its more of a long term investment.

I would say yes it is.

I earned my first sale in Facebook. I put some links there to attract my audience. I do the Facebook add 2x a week in a small value. After getting the traffic I do message them giving the link to subscribe to my website. In my 1st message only 3% responded then do follow up message and emails.

Wow, that's quite a great strategy, I can work with that.

Yes, low numbers on Facebook. Maybe this is real statistics. I recommend finding new strategies, doing research, try and test, I am sure it can work.

Keep going!

I have completed all the training and currently working on getting traffic and sales. In one of the lessons, I picked up a hint that Google may punish you for using affiliate l

On average you can put in one different link for every 500 words.

That's impressively specific. Thank you so much

You can put them in just not to many. 2 or 3 per post.

Well that sounds better, I think I will go with this

You are very welcome

yes one at the beginning one in the middle and one at the end and a couple call to action if you don't know about the call to action you need to go back in to training have you wrote any reviews you can put links in your review and call to action there or click to action

Thank you. I have been through that part of the training. I think I will go with alternating pillar posts with reviews that have affiliate links.

Good to know information, Thanks!

you can do this, however its vital you don't make it spammy. Dont over do it with the amount of affiliate links on each page

I'm guessing two are three are not too much, are they?

It depends on how long the article is really. 2 or 3 are usually fine, just make sure there is some useful content on there too with a decent length article.

You can, but it’s advised not to. You will be far better having a 50/50 mix with the non affiliate linked posts linking to internal posts that contain affiliate links.

That sounds better, thank you.

Always look at internal ways of linking :-) to both other affiliate posts and non affiliate posts. It helps with user engagement as well

I have been using the All in One SEO plugin but now I'm considering teh Yoast SEO as it offers me more functionality.

Social- social cards that turn your URLs into market

Good question ZayK. I have to little experience with SEO plugins so I cannot recommend any. But It seems like the RankMath plugin is the prefered choice. I will jot it down on my "wishlist".

Thank you for asking a very relevant question.

Roy

You're welcome. Let me know how it goes.

I will ZayK :)

I still recommend AIO SEO for 95% of bloggers/WA Members, however, when it comes to wanting/needing more features, I recommend Rank Math, just like Andy below. Before coming to WA I was always a Yoast fan and had it installed on all clients websites. Now that Rank Math is over 4 years old and has matured, I gave it a go and was extremely impressed. Rank Math is now my number 1 SEO Plugin and I have installed it on to all of my websites and clients websites. I also use Rank Maths Redirection feature in place of Pretty Links etc.

Well, it seems like I will go with Rank Math now that two Titans have vouched for it.

Hi Chrystopher, I have pretty links all throughout my website, already. Where in Rank Math can I replace my 30 or so Pretty Links?

Hey John, I use the Redirections feature of Rank Math for this.

I prefer All in One SEO. WA also teaches about that plugin.

But, yes - you can use it.

I guess you can see what best fit to your needs.

Yes, I will assess the performance of each.

You can but if I can make a suggestion. Performance-wise if you are going for a more advanced SEO plugin RankMath is superior. The only reason it is not rated higher is because of it being fairly new to the market and not having as many users voting but I used it on my Local SEO site to dominate people in my competition who have a 10-year head start on me in less than 1 month.

So is RankMath Better than Yoast and AIO SEO?
And its free right?
Why don't you have it on Affiliate3percent too?

I think so, it's got a lot more for social meta and schema markup built-in for a totally free plugin with no upgrade to buy. With Yoast to get everything they offer you have to pay over $200 a year. RankMath is free forever.

I will be adding it to Affiliate3percent as soon as I get time to run through and adjust older post to it. I just haven't had the ability with my shoulder injury to use the left arm for a bit or it would have been done 4 months ago.

Thanks Andy, you are a star. I was thinking about switching from AIO SEO to Yoast but now will probably go with RankMath. Do you have any idea if it impacts speed?
I've been floored by website speed by Google recently and have spend 2 months fixing it. So would want the faster plugin

Damn it, John, I was supposed to start Tuesday's article tonight and now I am neck deep putting Rank Math on my main website lol. I am proud to report high 80's on most of the post I have checked so far but I know it will take me a month ot two to get them all in the 90's. Only a few are set up for perfect scores but hey, 90's will do awesome in the serps.

DotLocalSEO loads under 2 seconds on Desktop and just over 2.5 seconds on mobile so no its a very clean plugin and it takes up need for several other plugins like independent schema , and has a far better sitemap system.

I agree with Andy, there are no speed implications with Rank Math. Two main reasons why it won’t affect your speed. The plugin does not load any front end CSS or JS that would cause render blocking issues etc. Your website is also being Cached on WA’s servers, meaning that you are serving your visitors a flat/pre-compiled HTML file, therefore not using PHP to render each page everytime.

Wow, I had no idea an even better plugin was out there. It's definitely worth a try as it looks like it delivers results. Thank you very much for sharing.

And quick recovery, I know how a shoulder injury can slow down your work.

Hi
Yes you can
I think it is better too

Thank you

My website is indexed on Google and many of my articles are already indexed. However, it takes quite sometime for my article to get indexed. Now, it may be okay for a post to b

When you say Time Sensitive, are you referring to News Articles? If so, you can use the News Schema to tell Google that it is fresh relevant and timely news. You need to be careful not to abuse this schema markup though.

Woaaah, I had no idea such a thing existed. I will be checking it out.

I know having comments really helped me and you can do that in two ways here at WA. The strand or site comments. The latter really good but bear in mind its a give and take system. I know a few of my articles suddenly got indexed after a few genuine comments were added.

Of course sometimes its seems totally random and takes ages. I just focus on new articles and get the overall trust of the site up. Patience is key. Good luck and great suggestions below.

I think I can do that. Will definitely get more comments on my posts. Thank you Phil

As soon as you publish a post, your next step is to go into your Search Console and place the whole URL of the post into URL inspection, which is the dark grey bar along the top. Google will tell you if the post has been indexed. If not Click "Test Live URL", this will tell you of any errors or friendly mobile issues, if all ok click "Request Indexing".
All done

Thank you so much. I will be doing that with every new post.

I am afraid it is all in the hands of Google. All you can do is wait.
In the training you learn how to submit your urls for indexing. Have you done this training?
Have you submitted your urls to Google serch console and Bing?
And have you submitted it in Jaaxy siterank tracking?

Well that's insightful. I had not reached that point of the training yet. Thanks.

Just be patient, it takes time , keep working on your site. Google will reward handsomely.

Thank you, let me keep grinding
