I'm considering Tailwinds for my social media strategy. Has anyone successfully used it? Did it work?

I have heard of it, and successful stories, but not tried yet. I am glad to know for free trial period. Thanks for rising a question.

What are the characteristics of Tailwinds, what it enables? .You may want to make a list, positive and negative sides, see how it works, and decide.

Hope someone experienced in this will answer to you.

i have used Tailwind for awhile now. Great for scheduling pins for pinterest. Spread out your pins so you don't schedule them for the same time every day. Wednesdays seem to be rather popular for getting re-pinned.
Pam

Glad to see it's actually working for you. I will give it a try and see how it turns out,

I would use it for 30 days and see how you get on . Different niches have different results.

Thank you, doing that right away.

I have only used it for Pinterest like all the social networks consistency is key, using Tailwind will get reach on your pins but never really found that my pins got many more clicks, so I have moved away from Pinterest.

That said I know loads of people who have had great results you get 30 days to test drive tailwind so I would give it a go and see what results you get. Then decide if worth starting to pay for it.

Trust this helps :)
Martin

Perfect, thank you. I think I'll give it a go for the trial period and see how it turns out.

I'm a firm believer in providing value and that's why I'm thinking of going the social media way where I promote my informative social media posts so that people can see the va

Social media like any media takes time to build a following, and you have to follow thru as mentioned below.

That's what I've learned. Now I'm looking at it from the long term angle.

I ran a one week campaign for a site I made on another platform and it worked pretty well. Facebook drove traffic, but unfortunately not enough to get conversions.

It takes time. Twitter, IG and Facebook and time scheduling for you to get the viewer jump in to your website.

Thats what I'm afraid of

I'm thinking of tailwind for the social media scheduling and posting

It can be effective, it does take time and it’s important to follow up.

So its more of a long term investment.

I would say yes it is.

I earned my first sale in Facebook. I put some links there to attract my audience. I do the Facebook add 2x a week in a small value. After getting the traffic I do message them giving the link to subscribe to my website. In my 1st message only 3% responded then do follow up message and emails.

Wow, that's quite a great strategy, I can work with that.

Yes, low numbers on Facebook. Maybe this is real statistics. I recommend finding new strategies, doing research, try and test, I am sure it can work.

Keep going!

I have completed all the training and currently working on getting traffic and sales. In one of the lessons, I picked up a hint that Google may punish you for using affiliate l

On average you can put in one different link for every 500 words.

That's impressively specific. Thank you so much

You can put them in just not to many. 2 or 3 per post.

Well that sounds better, I think I will go with this

You are very welcome

yes one at the beginning one in the middle and one at the end and a couple call to action if you don't know about the call to action you need to go back in to training have you wrote any reviews you can put links in your review and call to action there or click to action

Thank you. I have been through that part of the training. I think I will go with alternating pillar posts with reviews that have affiliate links.

Good to know information, Thanks!

you can do this, however its vital you don't make it spammy. Dont over do it with the amount of affiliate links on each page

I'm guessing two are three are not too much, are they?

It depends on how long the article is really. 2 or 3 are usually fine, just make sure there is some useful content on there too with a decent length article.

You can, but it’s advised not to. You will be far better having a 50/50 mix with the non affiliate linked posts linking to internal posts that contain affiliate links.

That sounds better, thank you.

Always look at internal ways of linking :-) to both other affiliate posts and non affiliate posts. It helps with user engagement as well
