about a week ago i just started promoting my affiliate link and as of today i received 108 clicks to my affiliate link (well that's what the stat chart said) with 1 converted to

If you are not averse to paid for free sign-ups you might consider etraffict47.com. You might Google for "guranteed free signups"

Did you capture those 108 visitors to your autoresponder? That way you can keep reminding them about what WA has to offer.

Thanks will do..I'll check out the site...

I have 30 over free sign up to WA, none convert to premium. I still work on it. There are always window shopper and people who worried to commit. But you are on the right track.

You might want to put your site out on the Give and Take Comment Thread, Wally. I've gotten lots of great advice by posting things there. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/authoring-writing-content/the-give-and-take-comment-thread-get-website-engagement I read down and I DO agree with Nathaniell about using the graphics provided here at WA. Good Luck!

Hi Wally, good to have you on board! I just checked your profile and website and you seem to me to possess the right qualities to achieve success. You have persistence at least and eventually that will pay dividends. With regards to the 108 clicks and one sign up, if you had more content on your site, I'm sure your traffic and conversions would increase in time. The site is fine, just keep building it out with relevant, engaging and original content and you'll do great.

Good question WJ. You might want to consider having your site reviewed by fellow WA members - the comments can be very helpful I find. And no need to worry about people copying your site - Google would slap them down bigtime if they did! :-)

PS I just visited your site and I would suggest you maybe take a look at the spelling and grammar. Also maybe a different image of yourself, say, more business-like?

i have not finished my site yet..but sending people to the my WA link

Since I've signed up I have over 600 clicks and only 1 free sign up, so I wish I could help you out! I'm not really promoting WA though, I'm doing a niche. I did a post or two on Facebook and Linked In so I guess that's where the clicks are coming from.

That's a tough question Wally - it's something that every marketer asks himself many times! "How do I get more sales from X amount of clicks"

One thing I try to look at is the mentality of people signing up. When people click your link, WHY are they clicking it?

The more they know about what WA is and what they will be doing here, the more likely they are to set up their account. Those that set up their account convert into active members, and then paying members.

I would also look at using the tracking links and custom signup pages here https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/share . If you haven't learned about those yet, it will come in the bootcamp training eventually. This can help you see where your clicks are coming from so you can focus on creating a better user experience for each person clicking that link and being sent to WA.

Awesome nate...thanks..i was wondering like hmm why aren't they converting to a simple free sign up process. ..I just finished lesson 1 soo can't wait to jump on the 2nd part...definitely start learn the tracking links..thanks

Make sure your targeted audience is in check.

Thanks PM...will do..ima do another one this time I'll make sure to target the right audience...

Dear Valued GoDaddy Customer.

thank you guys!!

Calling them is always best.

Did you create a bunch of directories? I bet you didn't, this sounds like a phishing attack but is well worth contacting customer support via the GoDaddy site. Do not use the link in the email. Phone is best.

It is also possible that the site has already been hacked and that someone is using your site for their repository. either way, GoDaddy should be able to help.

I'd call GoDaddy, not email, as Bob Barr said. You can find out if it's real or phishing. You may not be in trouble at all.

Companies that provide shared hosting accounts don't like their customers having a huge number of files/folders on their accounts. As I understand it, problems can arise with their server backups. I'd suggest contacting GoDaddy tech support directly (don't use a link in an email in case it's a scam). You can ask them what their recommended and hard limits are.

If I understand correctly, this is a phishing scam going around that started last month or so. It will link you out to a Russian scam site, even though it looks very real. If you click the link, do not sign in! Best wishes!

awesome..thank you!

i was wondering if Wealthy Affiliate had an APP for on the go so i can use at work?.ha ha

We don't have an app, but we program with mobile taken into consideration and test all rollouts on iOS and Android devices. WA works on mobile and as we move forward we will continue to focus on a mobile ready version versus an app.

Awesome thanks kyle..

I don't believe that they do yet.

Since my website isn't done yet should i have "under construction" or "coming soon" on the front page of my website?? if so..how can i do this is there a video? Thanks

Has anyone used "Coming Soon" so that when customers type in the domain name, they at least have something to sign into/leave their email address and be alerted when the website is ready? There are some interesting free templates out there. My domain name is already on my product and I cannot remove it now.

Without a website yet, what are the steps? Download a template and point the domain Host server to it?

Would appreciate some help please. Thanks.

Hello, as you have seen in discussion below, it doesn't need to be perfect, but it's better to write something. Make some content fast and post it, that's my thought.

Greetings,

Dean

Just my two cents, my first few pages are full of content, but I do have links to other pages that I'm still working on. Not wanting to hold off on getting the site ranked, I have those unfinished pages with an "under construction" sign, and a link back to the home page. Don't know if that helps, but I hope so!

Hi. I'm not a fan of "under construction" signs because I never know when it's up and running and just may never come back. Like Nathanielle says, you're always constructing so I would go live right away, which is what I believe Kyle recommends.

yeah i'm going to just leave it that way it is..

You can simply just create a page that says "under construction" and set it as a static home page.

With that said, this is not recommended because it takes a while for all of your content to get indexed and ranked in the search engines.

So getting your content ranked as you build out your site is a lot better than than publishing all of your content at once a few months from now. The longer it takes to get ranked, the less traffic you will have over time.

Besides, since you're working in building out your site not, chances are no one will find it anyway. Either way, still up to you.

Hope this helps!

-Jimmy

awesome thanks jimmy!!

I think KLewis misread the question...

No, you do not need to put an 'under construction' on your front page. Your site will always be under construction since you will always be adding new content to it.

Your site will look a bit boring for a couple of weeks, but the faster you write content for it, the faster it will start to look 'full' and like a real website. At this point, you won't be getting much traffic either, so it's not really a big deal.

It's best to get your visitors SOMETHING to look at rather than nothing!

Thanks Brotha! i'm on it

You are right.Long day..........

@kLewis...LOL, no worries man. been there!

Yes/ You do the video and then upload it to the site.Hope that this help you.Ken/....................
