Promoting your product or opportunity at Wealthy Affilate
Lets us all be clear about this amazing platform that Kyle and Carson have created here at Wealthy Affiliate regarding promoting opportunities or products.
I just received a private message from one of the long standing WA members:
"Hello William, do you know if we are allowed to advertise any other opportunities besides WA inside the community?"
I check further and found this member was doing the right thing and they said:
"I was asked that question the other day & I was telling the person that it was forbidden but there were others saying that you could, I was just getting your opinion on it. There are some people in here thinking that they can. That's why I asked you that question."
So here is the answer: No! Under No Circumstances! Never! How do I know this?

I cannot speak for Kyle and Carson, but my thinking is that one of the reasons for WA's, and all of our, success is the WA Community. Nothing would destroy the community faster than Spam Opportunity Posting and Spam Private messaging. If anyone want evidence for that go look at some of the lager MLM and Marketing Facebook Groups that started as "safe havens" and have just degenerated into Spam Opportunity Post Groups.
And Bobby, if you read this .. FYI this is one of my "soap boxes" .. lol.
Finally, I want to thank the member that asked me the question as it seems this topic needs covering every few months.

Thanks for sharing this,William. The question has been asked in slightly different ways regularly over the months and the answer is always the same.
As I understand it, you can promote your own websites in your blogs but any third party promotion can only be done on your website and NOT on your WA blogs.
Anyone, please feel free to correct or comment if this is incorrect.

there are a couple of places we can share what we are doing. One is on our profile where we can post our websites. The other is in Site Rubix under Comments and under Feedback. You can ask for a review of a website page and that page can be a review of your opportunity.
Never make a direct link to an affiliate site. We want to see what your are doing not look at an affiliate pitch. If I find your website interesting I can choose to follow the link to your affiliate pitch.
There may be other places to pitch your site, but I am not aware of them.

Got my first ever home computer, also a M-cBo-k this July 2016 (spent too many hours on computer-devils in office and hospital and clinics etc).
For the First 6 Months of WA I was trying to copy and paste my Websites into existence using my iPAD & iPhone.
AAAAAAargh!
What a luxury now using my M-cBo-k Pr-!!!!!!!!
Now I can actually visually see what I'm doing and actually do it!

Thanks for pointing this out William. I agree with you 100% on this. Anything not related to the WA and appears as spam could and will be a major turn off and would discourage anyone from continuing to do online business. Keeping it safe is always the way to go.
I agree with you. Once it's allowed, the spams can get either nasty and extremely annoying!
As much as I would love to but keeping this community "pure" would be our safe haven to thrive!
