Sounds like a good idea but not sure if that would be in keeping with the rules, one of the things we all like about here is that it is not about promoting our sites within here
Hi Katie, I was just talking about a list of active WA niche websites, with no promotion going on, where we could go to shop off of, but I don't know if that would even be possible to do with the # of sites that are built every week. After we have been here awhile, it will become self evident what member sites we want to use and we can develop our own list, in time.

It has dawned on many of us Jack. Questions like, who is selling solar panels for RV's. Several of us answered. Yes, what better way to support one another.
Keep a list of my own when I notice someone may have what I need.
Am sure it is being considered. Kyle and Carson do listen, because this month of May we can become experts in Wordpress. An added bonus is we can now use the star above, click it, make it turn yellow, and mark our a page to return to - our favorite stars in the WA. ^_~
Thanks caylynn, I still need to hit the books on wordpress but I cannot wait. As for solar panels, I could use one for my boat, my cabin, my house, my 180 acre piece of land so I can sell electricity back to my company, the list goes on and on.....

I don't think there is, but that would be awesome. I love the idea of purchasing the same item I would normally, while at the same time getting another member a commission on the item I was going to buy anyway.
At this point no and we have no plans to introduce something like this. The problem is that this although good natured to begin with would lead to an endless amount of spam and people promoting others to buy off of their site.
You can ask in chat before you buy something (and see if there are others within that niche), but as for a platform, based on past experiences this sort of thing becomes a haven for spam.
I can understand that it could lead to problems and I kind of thought that was why I did not see a directory here. Thanks for answering so quickly, I appreciate it. It would be great, but with all things great, come the headaches that they produce! :)

Yeah, sometimes they are just not worth it. We had a job network that was created with good intentions and for the most part, it worked very well but there was a subset of folks that see a system like that and take full advantage of it.
We may have something that we can use to compliment this sort of thing with a future roll out, not totally off the table.
Good deal Kyle, glad to hear you all are keeping an open mind and options open, I knew you guy's had it together here from what I have experienced here so far, keep all the good work coming, you all are doing good for the world!
