HI Joe, try editing your page on text mode. This way you can actually see the spaces between the images. Then try rewriting the plant names. Be careful not to delete the images codes. The codes

As I said this is a guide page for plant selection, and not my content posts, but you'll see what I mean when I scroll down. If you don't have any ideas I may have to do what rickbell mentioned and go back and manually manipulate everything which I'm praying I don't have to do.
It sounds like the work you have done through the other theme program is not compatible with the new theme. So, what I would do is go in and remove the pics. And then re align all of your text as before. Then go back and download the pics again a second time. I know it is work, but it may be the only way to do it now. Especially if you go back and load your old theme and everything pops up right as rain. Know what I mean? It is good practice, no? lol

Looks like the size of text changing messed you up. Look at this training https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/fix-wordpress-text-spacing-issues
Just remember that when things are spaced perfectly based on your current setup, the might not work correctly on mobile, other monitor sizes, etc.
I would align the images on the right and make sure spacing is uniform (code-wise) to avoid issues on other devices.
