I am working on my first website and I would like to add pictures of products to my post. I have found lots of info on where to look for free images however, I need pictures of

You can use images of products if they're in public domain or have CC0 copyright. You also want to make sure that the image can be used for commercial purposes as well. It's good to give credit for images, but very few people here I think actually do that. I would sign up for the affiliate programs and you're allowed to take screenshots of the products with whatever affiliate program your signed up with. But it only makes sense to sign up with affiliate programs first before taking pictures so you can link the images with your affiliate links so you can get paid.

in order to find pictures try using Flickr or screen shot a picture from amazon! :)

I am about to buy my first domain name and I need help. I thought that my domain name should be the same as my siterubix website.

For example if my siterubix is www.myweb

Thanks. I have successfully bought my first domain name! I have bought .com domain. If I am based in UK, should I buy also .co.uk? I am not sure if it has any advantages...........

Hi, it is not necessary to buy the .co.UK version. I would assume you'll be marketing worldwide and not specifically in the UK only.

Thank you for your help. Should the domain name contain any keywords or is it the content which will be more important? For example if my niche is 'winter shoes', should I try to find a domain name using this term?

If possible it is good to have domain name describing the niche, but this is not compulsory. It is good that it is a catchy phrase, which is remembered easily. The best is to have both features.

Go with some form of your niche

Siterubix is actually a domain of it's own, So, using your example, the "mywebsite" part is actually a subdomain of Siterubix.

When you go to buy your own domain anywhere outside of WA you are not buying a subdomain and yes it may not be available. You will have to get creative to find something that isn't taken.

~Debra

It does not have to be the same. It can be any domain name that you find is available.
