How i unsubscribed from wa

It could have been a training had I been not so emotional these two days and had I given more attention to detail. But I was emotional and a bit stressed out because there seemed there was not enough clarity on what I was going to do.

So it's going to be just a post, but even in this form and shape, I hope it might help somebody who will face the same situation I did.

I had to change my payment method , that is to switch from paypal to the credt card method.I of course tried to check out what I have in Account Settings. There was a description of what I have to do if I want to change a card within the paypal system, very good and detailed, but I wanted to switch to another method of payment.

So I typed in the question and started the discussion in the classroom.There was one answer that helped.But it was Sunday and the person certainly didn't spend the entire day in front of a computer.So the suggestion was that I should cancel my billing method and my account, that is technically unsubscribe.

My account, my 104 blogs, my 831followers, people who I reached out in person and many of whom have become my dear friends... Was i going to lose it all?Was there a guarantee I would get into the same account after I resubscribe? Where will i find the subscription form? People who I was able to ask this question, were elusively saying "I hope so".. "Well, maybe", etc.

But anyway I had to be moving. I said to some of the people "If I get locked out, you will have an idea where to look for me". lol..

I went to the Account Settings and started the process... WA was accompanying me all the way and showing me:

*The list of my blogs

*The pictures of my followers

*My goals I wrote when I just came(pretty unrealistic , I should say)

They were saying me I shouldn't unsubscribe.

Then the time of the survey came.

They were asking me different questions which I honestly, didn't read attentively. I just typed one phrase and was copying and pastying it in all the forms-" I want to resubscribe".

And finally I got to the last button. I was a bit scared, but I did press.

I pressed it and what? There were the two options

Good I had my niece, a computer programmer, next to me, She said :"Try to login first".

She made sure I had the account details before we started. Was she right! That was the right choice.

Then I got the payment options, chose the one I needed, made the payment and at some point got into my account .

It was bare . With no followers, no blogs, no rank, nothing.

I said "Well...I at least see my own picture"...I pressed it , and there all the numbers got back.

Then ... I got two letters from Kyle and Carson saying" Sorry that you have unsubscribed".

and one letter confirming resubscription.

Also got some welcome messages and congratulations on going premium. All is well...

I am home.
