My WA Comment Seems to have Vanished!
Not to worry, your comment shared on WA has NOT vanished, it is simply hidden from your view when using the link provided in some of your emailed notifications.
There appears to be a temporary glitch in the new layout and Carson is working on a fix. In the meantime, this is what you can do.
Your emailed link may look like this:
Once you arrive at YOUR emailed WA link... the one that makes your comment vanish that is... simply remove the “comment/17725188” in my example... in your case, your comment will have a different number (obviously, right), remove the word comment the "/" and the number in your browser's address line.
Then, simply refresh your browser, and scroll down to find your comment, and the member’s response(s). That’s it!
If editing in your browser's address line is too painful, you could copy and paste the URL into a TXT file, remove the comment, "/" and the number, and then copy and paste the remaining URL into your browser.
Hope this helps those of you who are experiencing this issue too.

This might explain why I've left comments on 20-30 posts (sites) and only received less than 5 coming back to my own. I'm now sending a PM message to the person requesting comments, so they don't miss it.

This was something to do with the new coding that WA went through over 3 months ago now. Nothing to do with anyone else's website... just comments that were made on blogs here.
If a webmaster is not watching for comments made on THEIR websites, the will be unaware. Thus my training offered here: Notify Those Who Commented on Your Blog That You Responded

Thanks everyone for the feedback on this one. There is a bug in our comment URL's where the comments are not coming to the top as they should. We'll be rolling out a fix to this in the next 12 hours or so.
