So now this is a step that I used to find a bit, touchy, feely maybe a little new age but you need to begin to visualise these goals. This actually is very important. If you remember back to lesson 1, I talked about the brain as a servo, as a goal striving device. The brain will work towards a goal if it has a picture or a vision. You have heard about 'Think and grow rich' by Napoleon Hill. If you think about being rich or successful, if you think about that new job and wear the suit to the interview then the stimulus is sent to the brain and stored.
You see, the brain cannot tell fact from fiction, truth from lie or reality from your goals. If you want that new car then get a picture of it and get it on your fridge or next to your bathroom mirror.
Now I am not advocating 35 photos of cars, houses and wads of cash to be strewn all over your house, a) thats crazy and b) if you like me then your wife would slap you and tell you to get the Lamborghini photo of the bedroom wall.
But do you get the idea, get some pictures and now be specific and print some off. Keep them in your goal book, maybe tape one to the middle of your steering wheel for a day, yep I have done that
Visualisation is key as your brain will begin to calibrate and the servo guiding mechanism will start to work. This may be a good time to read 'the secret' and understand the law of attraction and such.
There is no link to this here, I am not promoting this but it is a good book for this lesson if you can find a copy.
I suggest that every time you are working the plan and you are in your special time then look at your pictures and burn that image in ok.
Again if you think its boring or stupid then maybe your goal is not Relevant.
OK onwards...
Top Helpers in This Lesson
I have been jumping around all over the place and not accomplishing a blasted thing. So, I am bowing up and getting things organized and my goals laid out with weekly plans so that I can progress.
THANK YOU for this valuable course. God Bless you richly. :-) Jerry Mc
What is a "coppers jotter" (A7 notebook)?
In the US most people are used to sizes - - an 8.5 inch X 10.0 inch notebook is most common.
Smaller sizes/measurements are available.
So how many do they need to pass for the SMART test then?
