#1. Find out who your target audience is
While preparing to attract readers (The right audience) to your blog, you must be ready to engage all of your content with your readers. You must know that readers follow you and keep checking out for the latest posts on your blog.
In order to find out properly and accurately who your readers are, note the points below:
A. Readers love to be engaged: Do you know that readers love engaging posts the same way Google does and would love to keep coming back to check out for more?
Readers appreciate/cherish a kind of content that allows them to participate at the core of readers' satisfaction. And they would love to praise you (The blog author) in their comments asking for more like such content that satisfies their appetites.
B. Readers love and follow a consistent blogger: Are you a consistent blogger who creates such content which is mainly at the core of readers' satisfaction frequently?
Do you realize the fact that readers would only love to follow you in blog posts, in comments, at social media, and on forums if they see that you're such a consistent blogger?
Naturally, they'll create a special interest in you and they will continue to follow up with you as you make progress with your blog. They'd be naturally interested in your failure and success story because they saw that you understood and followed the fundamentals of blogging.
C. Readers check out for the latest posts on your blog: Do you publish content regularly and at frequent intervals? Readers do not like an inconsistent blogger and, so, they don't follow such.
Aside from the better user experience and ranking potentials that your blog will get from the publishing frequency, readers will always be satisfied at revisiting your blog knowing and relying on it that you will have published more pieces of work for them to be engaged with.
D. Readers love informative and quality content: Do you know that readers love informative and quality content? You can easily win their minds and make them return to your blog to check out for the latest posts.
Search engines too do not rank content based on the ranking parameters used in the days of Alta Vista and many others any longer. They now look at how informative, helpful and engaging your content is as well as the quality of the people who link to your blog from other domains.
E. Readers will keep coming back if only they find your blog an information portal: Is your blog delivering a kind of informative and helpful content which readers would love to read at all times even over and over again?
Read other bloggers' posts frequently in order to develop your writing capabilities and start satisfying your readers' appetites for quality and helpful content.
