I have just set up a new account in Outlook and, whilst i had no problem with the setup. my account on the left hand side looks like this:

haven't they taken this feature out in outlook365.
have you been to this one?

Just to be clear I have set up the account no problem but the sync issue has appeared after it was set up.
I don’t have this problem on my other Outlook mail accounts and all the articles I have read on how to get rid of the sync problem are either incomplete or don’t activate.
Also the issue is preventing mails coming into the inbox although the webmail is working fine.
I have set up this account successfully in Thunderbird but don’t really like it too much.
If all else fails l will have to reluctantly revert to this option.

sorry Terry I am a gmail user mainly - will deviate when i have to but use gmail in the old basic interface due to a slow computer.
it maybe a problem in atmail as it is an old program, or microsoft haven't thought people use older tech.
a convoluted way could be take them into gmail and then take these into outlook 365.or thunderbird.

I lost a lot of time a while back trying to get my WA site emails to communicate with my Hotmail account, that I was advised here to use gmail instead. I resisted and eventually gave in.
I got my WA site emails to communicate with my new gmail account in minutes and haven't looked back since.
I followed this WA training and it worked grand for me: Create Your Professional Website Email Address as Email Forward to Your Gmail With gmail it was "follow the instructions and it just worked". With Hotmail I was following loads of different blogs to resolve but those potential solutions did not work for me. I lost days.

Sorry can't help you. I lost days in my case trying to persuade Hotmail/Outlook do something that should have been "set and forget". When I did it with gmail, it just worked.
Hope you sort out your issue.
Yes my gmail and Outlook accounts are fine so I think I’ll stick with T-bird for these website specific accounts

Though you might not want to be sending them hundreds of links as that would be information overload and it could have an adverse effect.
Perhaps selecting no more than the top 5 training/tutorials might be best and then offering your services to be their premium coach would be better.
As their premium coach, they would be contacting you in private messages.

I created a tutorial yesterday and saved but did not publish it. I cannot now find it
