Hello guys. I'm starting to build my website. Thanks for the suggestions.

I wanna ask a question regarding structure. Is there any way I can arrange amazon links (with ima

If you're a *visual* person I recommend http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ultimate-tinymce/ There's also training on it here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/ultimate-tinymce-plugin-the-ultimate-training :) Rich.

Hi - you can get table plugins. But if you don't want to do that, if you go into Text mode (as opposed to Visual), and enter the following, this will give you a table that you can then see in visual mode, and add your links into the cells directly:

row 1 cell 1row 1 cell 2
row 2 cell 1row 2 cell 2

border="1" is set to 1 so you can see where the gridlines are. When you publish, set this to "0" so the table gridlines become invisible.

I hope this helps?

All the best, Mark

Thanks Mark. I tried that before, but I guess I'll use the plugin you said. Thanks

Oh. I'm not in a premium membership Haha

Hi again fellas. I just wanted to ask if there is a way to move my main text on my website to the left.

I'm using 2014 theme

Try to put widgets area to the right.

This is just a suggestion and I'm not sure if it would work for you, but what if you created three columns (content - margin - sidebar) and had it whatever width you wanted to allow for this "margin?"

If I were to accomplish this myself, I would use a plugin I normally use - easy columns.

Otherwise you can probably work with this in CSS itself. If the theme supports custom CSS, you could do it there. It would take me time to find out how to do this, but I could direct you to a site that would be helpful to you...

www.w3schools.com

search: "create margins with CSS." or simply "margins" within this site.

Hope this helped some.

Got my website up with design. Thanks for all the help.

To all guitarists out there. Any suggestion of guitar brands? Thanks

I am no guitarists, but sincere congrats on setting the site.

grats on getting a website up! Think the guitar brands you focus on will depend on what the focus of your site is. cheap guitars, guitars for beginners, high end guitars etc then just find the guitars or brands that match those the best =)

Suggestions buddy!

hi guys. this is like my 5th time asking question.

how do I customize my site? I get confused when it comes to the display of menus and categories. Help please. hanks

I agree that course"Build my website" will help comprehensively.

The step by steps do help, I have to watch them more than once sometimes. I am on Course 2 level 5 and need to finish it this weekend. I really want this thing to succeed so what I am doing is taking my time to do it right. Hope this helps.

Hi Immanuel.

If you go to Appearance -> Menu - you can create a new menu (click on the part that says: Edit your menu below, or create a new menu).

Just drag and drop pages/posts into whichever order you like - if you drop a little to the right under another page, then it will show as a sub-menu of the page it's nested under.

Then go to Dashboard -> Customize your site - and you should see on the left hand menu "Navigation" - select that, and you can then choose from the drop down list, the menu that you created above.

For 2014 - you can select a secondary menu too - which will show down the left hand side of the page. So you can have two separate menus displayed - one at the top, and one at the side.

To center the menu, go to Appearance -> Editor - and select the stylesheet file names style.css. Then look for the part which says:

.primary-navigation {
float: right;
font-size: 11px;
margin: 0 1px 0 -12px;
padding: 0;
text-transform: uppercase;
}

Change "float: right;" to "text-align: center;" - and click Update File at the bottom.

I would suggest copying and pasting the style.css from the editor, into notepad on your computer - so that if you make a mistake, you can just copy and paste from notepad back into the Editor screen.

I hope this helps?

All the best, Mark

Hi Immanuel. If you key in the word menu, in the above search bar, you'll see heaps of helpful info. Including videos. You should find what you are looking for in there. Key in any main word/tag for any topic and usually you'll find what you are looking for. Many members here write blogs/make training vids to help each other out. Hope this helps.

What is it your trying to do? Change the look/appearance? Add Pictures, videos etc? let me know and I'll try to help you if I can.

Hi. I'm trying to add menu. Also, I want to center my background. The black one in the 2014 theme. Thanks
