I add the api key and get a could not connect to host error.
any quick fix?
Thanks Michael
Take a look at each of the ports of the server host ... One or more of the ports is probably blocked... Let me know if that helps at all or not

Getresponse wordpress api key plugin error?
I add the api key and get a could not connect to host error.
any quick fix?
Thanks Michael
I contacted support with this same issue and they resolved it in under 10 minutes, the support here is amazing!
I give up, after WA fixed the API connection problem I tried to set up a form using the plugin widget (could not get it to work). I then tried to add it to my about page, nothing I did worked. The form just would not show up on the page (it did with html but it was a jumbled mess). I don't know about you but I barely have enough time write posts and have no time for a service that requires that much tweeking. Switching to Aweber as suggested and hopefully I can get back to work!

How come word press 4 2 sites one has a 2 level toolbar to set heading 1 or 2 and the other does not
How come Word Press 4 I have 2 sites one has a 2 level toolbar to set heading 1 or 2 or as a paragraph and the other does not?
There is an icon on the tool bar called the kitchen sink. Last on to the right looks like a Box with 3 lines. Actually it has been renamed to the Toolbar Toggle. Click on that and additional menu items will open.
To add additional functionality, add the WP Edit Plugin.
You click the last button on the right hand side, it will change the toggle to give you 1 or 2.
Are you using a different theme on the 2 sites? If so, it may be that one theme supports those formatting options whereas the other theme does not.

Ok, I know I've worked on my site a bit today, but, never had close to 200 hits before. Is that normal?
Has anyone ever gotten email notices from Wordpress saying you have a new registration on your site? I have had a whole lot lately but cannot find them anywhere on my site.
They will be found on the user page.
You probably want to turn off the ability for anyone to register on your site Settings>>General Uncheck the box anyone can register
thanks Labman. I did finally figure it out. Really appreciate your confirmation that I was in fact getting it right.
There really is no such thing as normal! Just love when you write content that brings many visits
I honestly don't know. To use a cliche, normal is a setting on the dryer. I know that I've written articles that get no views and then, all of a sudden, out of the blue, one will take off and go wild. Good luck!

Is it because I disclosed site as a blog?
My site http://audiohomecinema.com/
Easy answer to why you were turned down. You have virtually no content on your site and therefore you're not offering 'value' to your visitors. Many affiliate programmes and especially big ones like wallmart will take a look at your site before they want their name associated with it. It's not good having pages that say what you will be offering - you have to have some of them there.
(Nothing to do with walmart - but I would edit your about page. It's all about you - what the reader wants to know is what's in it for them. You're not talking to them and even making it clear why you've set up the site) :) Beverley
I've been turned down by a few and accepted by a few. One of them provided a list of why they turn people down. I'm thinking that you don't have enough activity yet. A lot of them want to see an established blog with a LOT of content. I plan on reapplying to the ones who turned me down as soon as I have more content. Good Luck!
They did mention they want high volume traffic sites. The other thing was they don't like blogs and I put that down as type of site.
