2 more sales from Amazon
Amazon just keeps chugging away for me. I had 2 more sales yesterday. After weeks of no sales at all the last few days have been a very welcome change! It is so nice that it is there in the background and brings the little sales that trickle in. I know if I put in more work I can increase this trickle to a stream!
It was really slow for most of the summer with bright spots in May and September and not much in between except on or two sales every week or two. Now November has been starting out well. I hope it continues.
I seem to sell mostly cat products (probably 3/4 that I recommend and 1/4 that I don't) and very small electronics like iPhone cases, iPhone camera lenses etc. Then there are random products like shoes, pants, DVDs...you just never know what people will buy on Amazon!

Haven't seen anything here yet, but I know I also need to do a lot more still. Even though I got way more blog posts, I have to work more on comments, reviews and the like.

That's very good Jessica that you are now getting sales.
I've had a few this month and hoping for more, of course. The sales just need to move about another $20 worth this month and I'll be eligible for another cheque. Nothing beats keeping positive! Lol :)
In fact when I loaded the gift card banner initially it didn't include my store link. That is why they had to fix it.
Don't quote me on this , but I thought they did. I have to read the terms of service again.

I can't give a positive answer to this question. The next time I talk to a Amazon Customer Service rep I will ask the question.

Yes! I am so glad I started with Amazon when I did. I think it is great way for a beginner to get going here.

Fantastic. Amazon phoned me today telling me that their gift card banner is functional. We then chatted about internal sales. A bad idea. I had one and the Amazon rep told me it was good that I reported it. My Amazon review should be interesting.

I heard (I think) that gift cards don't get us any commission from Amazon. Is that true?
Yes, internal is a no-no to them.
Thanks Barb. My site didn't do well last year for the holidays. I need to work on that. I don't want to promote random things. I try to stick to the products that I actually use and really like. I struggle with how to incorporate a holiday aspect.
Can you add something special...a holiday offer or a strictly season item? Added decoration to site page??
