Being an affiliate marketer we have to wear many hats...

  • SEO marketer
  • Social media marketer
  • Analyzer
  • Website designer
  • Content Marketer
  • Video creator
  • Amazon affiliate
  • Ecommerce store owner
  • Ebook creator
  • Email marketer
  • Sales copywriter
  • And the list goes on

I use Tailwind app for scheduling Pinterest posts. Also completed a day's Facebook Advertising. What I was wondering is, do any of you use Facebook Automated Scheduling for your posts?

We need to concentrate on the main thing and that is writing content without fluff. Everything around that can be automated can't it. Well most things...!

It's about making our lives easier.

Can you relate?

I use Social Jukebox and schedule posts for Twitter, Facebook and Linked In. I got in on the beta testing of the app so continue to get it at a very good price, much less than joining now. There is a free version though.

I just want to concentrate on Facebook and Pinterest as I have a following on both.

I would like to really know them both extremely well and engage with my audience. I do not want to spread myself to thin with only 200 followers on each of 5 social media platforms.

Having said that, Youtube might feature in the mix as well. I will see and find out what is the best thing to do.

I can understand that. I have added mine gradually over the last 9 years.

[begin joke]
I bought some push button software from ClickBank that does all of those things. Only cost me $27 and now I make 6 figures per month.

Can I have some?!

Facebook has his own scheduler if you want to try it. It is called creator Studio. Cheers Sylvia

Thanks Sylvia.

It doesn't seem to be there even though I looked it up on Facebook help...

Check out Hootsuite.com you can automate your posts using the scheduler. Malcolm

There is a free trial for Hootsuite but I am on the fence as to using that or Facebook's in-house scheduler.

Check out Jarvee to automate your followings on a bunch of social media platforms.

Will do and thank you.

Interesting post this one, as I was reading a very comprehensive report on this very subject yesterday

The crux of it was which social media platforms do we NEED to be on and of those which automates the Process best

The top 2 were Facebook and Twitter both of who have built in automation tools

Hootsuite I thought cost money,

Tweetdeck is good

Autoresponder is a must

And chat bots allegedly get you a 70 80 % ROI when used correctly

Wow! Actually Pinterest is great as a Search engine and I am up to 5k followers just by re-pinning other people's pins. Using Tailwind.

I use Facebook frequently and want to find a good scheduler for that. I might use their in-house scheduler.

It's not exactly an in house scheduler, more a case of knowing how to set up your page correctly then using a 3rd party Facebook approved app

Hootsuite is free? Brilliant!

Thanks for letting me know about it.

I use Traffic Wonker for scheduling Pinterest. I use Later for scheduling Instagram and Facebook. They both work very well and save a ton of time.

I haven't heard of these, but at least I know now!

Hi Stella

I have used Tailwind and found it to be phenomenal, couldn't believe how quickly my Pinterest numbers climbed - and declined at the end of my trial period :-( But they're on the up with my efforts again :-) As soon as I can afford to automate my posts I definitely will.

I am going to try the Hootsuite free plan as suggested by Jon below/

The free plans really do rock because they give us a good look at how the systems work. Very cool.

I also believe that automation is the way to go so that we focus on the important stuff, but have reason to believe that our posting needs a human touch too, so we cannot leave it only in the hands of automation.

Blessings
Louise

PS I will be watching the responses to your post - great question to ask.

Yes Louise,

We are content marketers to the bone and it should not, and probably cannot, be automated.

The tools I refer to help with posting of your content and yesterday I commented on a YouTube video, which promptly got pinned by the channel owner so I get leveraged coverage that way by simply leaving a comment

We use Hootsuite (Free plan) which gives you up to 3 social profiles to schedule your postings to. We use it for Facebook,, Twitter and Linkedin, but you can also choose Youtube, Pinterest or Instagram.

Great tool and easy to use.

Thanks for the great tip JonLake!

Hi Jon
Thanks for the valuable tip.Is hootsuite free for all times?Or only 30 days?

The free account (up to 3 social profiles) is free forever. If you want more features and/or more social profiles you can upgrade to 10 social profiles for $25 per month I think it is.

Thanks, I will definitely try it out!

Yes it came at a time when I need to up the ante.

Thanks a lot Jon

Hi Jon,

I took a look at Hootsuite and only the free trial is free? Has it changed since you started using Hootsuite?

This link should get you in https://hootsuite.com/create-free-account#/
I think they make it difficult to find the free account sign up unless you know where to look!

Thanks Jon!
