Everyone at WA has a slight learning curve when it comes to Core Training - some find it easy, some find it challenging.
My little challenge is: Should I outsource my si
Hi stella, just to throw my tuppence in...
i just read one of your posts and found a few 'click here' links - please get rid of them - they don't help you, your visitors or google determine what the content the link is about ( not descriptive)
i don't feel you need to do too much to make the site 'pop' but it does need a little attention...
i think the colours do need a little attention - a colour palette of blues or blue greens seems to be popular in this niche....
you seem to have one post as your home page - this confused me a little...
i would either design a home page or have the excerpt blog roll....
i would add a short bio in the sidebar with an image ( in a circle ) of you to add trust that this is someone who cares....have a link to your main bio at the end of the short one - and not 'click here' ...
i am also a bit confused about the focus of the site - is it clear skin or eczema....
just my few thoughts as i browsed your site Stella....
Hi Stella
I agree with others that your content is great.
You don't need a fancy, more modern looking site. It looks good already.
It's great for people who already know about eczema and know what they're looking for - perhaps not so good for those starting to learn either for themselves or for others.
So perhaps it could benefit from updating in such a way that it's easier for visitors to figure out what they want to know. For example, where on your site to start learning about eczema, its causes, where to find information on what might provide relief and what they might try in order to discover or address the cause.
So if I was in your shoes I'd add a page or two designed to advise visitors how to make the most of the site: where to start and what steps to take in a logical order. That way they'll potentially stay and look around.
Also, I'd consider re-organising the categories so that visitors can easily discover the most important subjects first. Personally I prefer to see a well organised blogroll for each category rather than having to scroll through a list of posts one after the other.

Thanks Richard,
You've given an awesome piece of advice...I will notify her to say that I want to keep the site as is and will do the necessary changes myself.
She can keep the money paid so far and give the money to charity work.
She's going to be a bit surprised, but I think this is for the best...
Hi Stella
The helpfulness of the site's content is definitely the most important part. The look of your site is not really going to impress anyone; they are coming to collect information that helps solve their problem.
I had a quick look at your site, and it looks ok to me.
You have all the training you need at WA to fully rebuild the look and function of your site exactly the way you want it, but I recommend you spend the majority of your time exploring ways to continue to build traffic and generate income.
Perhaps you could use that money to do some advertising. 😎

Thanks Frank - great to have some useful feedback. I really should have asked this question before going down a rabbit hole!
If you’re paying membership here for how to build a successful affiliate marketing website and there’s step by step tutorials here on how to do it I’m not sure why you’d turn around to pay someone else to build your site. There are tons here who had never built a website before WA, including myself. What you’re describing is like taking an extensive cooking class and then asking someone else to prepare the meal.

Is it wise to outsource my site for a website creator to restructure?

Hi Stella,
You have some pretty good content on your site. Also, nothing is grossly wrong with it. It's alright! The colors are clean and fresh as skin without blemish.
Whatever restructuring that you may need, please save your money and do it yourself.
We have volumes of resources here at Wealthy Affiliate to help you out.
Check me out at my health site. I am making changes too. I n the end, I will do them my WA family step by step.
Organize yourself and get it done, my friend. If I can help in any way, please let me know.
