Raw clicks on WA Stats show about twenty clicks a month. How come Google analytics show only 20 pageviews for the whole year!

Because those clicks are to your blogs here, not your website.

Thanks. To bad the world is not clicking on the website.

Is there something very easy and automatic?

Next morning. I read more about Share buttons using the search and followed the advice below. It took me 2 more hours but I finally found what worked for me. SumoMe was easy to follow and I have the look I wanted without any trouble on my part.

I had gone through Hupso, Buffer, Shareholic, and a couple others first. Should just gone to SumoMe in the beginning. Thanks for all the help.

I am getting impatient and if there are too many instructions I have been kicking the plug-in out. I will revisit tomorrow because my 4 hours today is gone and I have to leave the house. Thanks for the answers. I will try SumoMe again.

I use Sumome and LOVE it!

(thumbsup)

PjG, I saw now the Buttons slide in when I visited a couple of your sites. That is the plug-in above, I assume. I like that, so will try that again. Thanks.

If I change the Published date does Google still knew how long my page has been on the Internet? How do I know what the orighinal date was if I change it?

Changing a date in quick edit is just the same.
To check when you 1st published a post or page go and edit that page/post and then in the publish box in the top right click on the "browse" link next to revisions. You will see a slider bar in the top center of the page, move it all the way to the left and it will show the oldest revision date which should be your 1st published date.

Important: Click "Return to editor" so you do not restore this older revision. My google comments still apply

righto

What if I change the Published date in Quick Edit. Now the date is changed and I do not know what the original Published date is when I look at the WP. Is it lost or can I find it somewhere and does Google still know how long it has been on the Internet.

Google knows the date it last indexed your site and crawled that page or post. If you have not deleted them you can look at the oldest revision of your page which will show you the date and time you published it.

I see where I can see everything under WP Revisions, now. Thanks for pointing me there. So Quick Edit is changing what the Public sees but Google knows it is just a revision.

No Google does not record every revision you make. Google Indexes you site and it picks up the page at that time it will not pick up any revision until it next indexes your site. So for example if you created a post on Sunday, and google indexed your site on Monday it would know about that post. If you then made revisions on Tuesday and Wednesday but it next indexed your site on the following Monday it would then index the last post which you did on Wednesday and it would in effect treat it as if it was a new post and you would have lost any ranking the original post had.

Okay, I get it. Thank you, Caraid, for this discussion.

In other words, all my images say DSCN8754-2-Medium.jpg for File Name. Can I change that in Wordpress? Or do I have to delete and upload again after I change the Name in my com

I am so grateful of the responses I got here. I summed them up at a blog. and got more discussions. Thank you so much Ambassadors.

Thank you Marion.

I would rename all the image files. Yeah, I know, it's a chore because you'll have to reinsert them into your posts and pages.

You don't need to use hyphens between words in your alt text or titles any more. WordPress converts spaces into hyphens for you so you can use reader friendly names.

Your images (with good titles) can be found in Google Images and can lead to an increase in traffic.

Thanks, Marion. It is strange with all the Google changes, lots of the details are just as they were 12 years ago.

From what I know, you could probably re-link the images should you decide to re-upload but that would require you to go into each post and update them one-by-one.

What I like to do is to give a title to my images that contain my keywords as separated by dashes. Makes it easier to associate which images to what post (and I think it'll help make your posts more searchable from Google Images).

I also believe you get some merit if you put alt-text in your images with a brief description of what is in the image. People with visual impairments will benefit from hearing alt-text through their screen reader.

RaphyAbano, Thanks for the info. I hate to reload in WP media and on each page, but I think I better.

If you change the name the file will not be recognized and the picture will be missing in your post. I wrote something about this, partly addresses your question.

Hi Jovo, I have read your SEO on images and I am wondering if all my pictures are not SEO friendly. First, they say DSCNXXXX
-2-Medium.jpg, in the "file name" of the image, or in other words, the name from my own computer picture files. Is that wrong for SEO? Shouldn't I have my keyword?

This what you describe is not good for SEO. So it is worth doing but be careful not to make a mess. I have seen one person doing this and started complaining that images disappeared from posts. That is why I wrote the training which I mentioned above.

Thanks Jovo, but For me your training has too much information and things started to get confusing for me. Sorry, I get off track so easily. I am sort of disappointed that I did not see this information in the 5 Courses that got my website turned up in the first place. I have been going along for a whole year and have not put in proper file names, alt texts or description text to do the best for SEO. And my website is all about images because that is one of my creative outlets, now I have tons of work to do.
Thanks for this technical discussion, Sherry

Should I add each URL of all my pages and posts into adsense at "Account" --"Site management" tab? Adsense does not show activity for my Web Site.

Well, I went to Adsense and found out that you only have to add the subdomain URL if you want to set up blocks for that page or post.

Adsense typicall displays in 3 locations. One on the sidebar and two on your posts.
Ed

I am asking about how I should load my account Into the Adsense account. All my URLs on my .com? Other Words, should I list all my URLs including each page and post URL.

Let's clear the air first. Your URL is your domainname.com. Each post and page does not have its own URL. It's been quite a while since I began my AdSense account. You are wanting to add AdSense to your website, so you have to give them your URL. You can start by using a plugin for Adsense. Then you can sign up for an Adsense account.
Ed

mijareze, I already have an account with Adsense and domainname.com is entered as a site I own.
Thanks for clearing that for me, but......
What is domainname.com/tea-bag-folding-pattern called? I am thinking that if anyone enters any one of these (subdomains?) and clicks, Adsense will see it? Right? or do I add them too?.
This may be an unnecessary question in the whole scheme of things, but not in my head.
