I have one of my sites hosted with Siteground. I would like to move the site to WA. What do I need to do to make that happen? The website is hosted with Siteground and the doma

The Paid Premium membership includes the hosting of 10 websites.

So you have some options here.
As for your domain names, you cam leave them at namecheap and point the DNS to WA servers and continue to pay your yearly domain name registration to namecheap or you can transfer your domain name to WA. Upon transfer you will be paying another year of domain name registration which is 14.99 USD for a year.
1) How to point DNS to WA servers
Here are the WA DNS settings.
ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com
2) To Transfer domain name from Namecheap. You will probably need site support help.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

To Transfer an existing website (website already built on a domain name) to WA, please back up your website first and have a copy on your CP or the cloud or where you can access it if necessary.
Then as site support for help.

You may transfer or point to WA servers (if transferring domain has to end in .com, .net or .org.

To update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.

ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com

These settings will be updated within your domain registrar (where you purchased your domain) after the transfer has taken place. To transfer your domain here you need login current registrar and fetch the EPP code, there's a one year charge of $15, privacy included. One year more will get added to your domain.

Also it has to have passed the grace period of 60 days.

Thank you!

How many hours per day do you work on your site? And how long did it take you to make your first dollar on a WA referral?

Just wanting to see if I am working at a good pace.

I work about 2 hours a day. I tend to spend too much time on email. It involves some related WA activity but I need to cut that down and spend more time on the website directly. I earn adsense, but no sell from my website and no sale since joining in Jan on a WA sale.

That's about how much time I have been spending also. We just started the WA site and I am now able to spend more time since my husband was laid off. Hoping to get our first referral soon. I guess consistency is the key.

I try to spend my time answering comments on my posts and creating posts. I also spend time on training mostly on the getting started activities. I'm going to get back to my 10 hours a week on my website. I'm also going to start posting three articles per week.

The number of ways per day i spend working on my site is not near the number that it could be = ) I spend a few hours a day playing games and a lot of sleeping and sometimes i just start at the computer and think to myself "boy I could be getting something done right now if I would just start typing something". This is my biggest downfall im a procrastinator.

Though I still get in an hour or two working on a post/page or watching a tutorial here to apply to my sites. Doesn't change the fact that on some days (I have no kids or anything unless you count my cats) that I could indeed easily work 6-8 hours on my site with no problem.

As long as you have picked a pace and commit to it. You will begin to see progress. I just restarted the bootcamp so I will have to get back to you on how long it takes to get a referral lol but the last site I made I worked on about 3-4 hours or so a day and it started making sales after two months. Though Ive had other sites take as long as 6-8 months.

Just be consistent, create a plan of attack and stick with it. =)
Best wishes to your success
Jean

Thanks Jean. I'm trying to work out a schedule of what I should be doing each day to make sure I'm utilizing my time well. Thanks for sharing what you have been doing.

Yeah just make sure its a realistic one and one that you can follow then on days when you find yourself with more time just write an extra post and schedule it to publish on your next publishing day that way you slowly start to pull ahead and if one day things come up you are still on track =)

Lim, you have only been here just over 2 months.
I did notice that you do not show any websites on
your profile. You should share them with followers.
As far as the pace it is not a race, you set you own pace. :-)

Thanks Ken. I overlooked that when setting up my profile I guess. Will add those now.

Excellent Kim.

I started with a niche website and recently started WA Bootcamp. I can tell you, while you're waiting, click on SUCCESS! You will find it in your Activity Dashboard. I know people had referrals within their first 2 weeks. Good luck!

Thanks I will look in that category. I did the exact same thing. I am working through the bootcamp now, but first did a niche site on homeschooling.

I am using the Cleanr theme. It says it allows comments on pages and posts, but there is no place on my pages for anyone to leave a comment. I have made sure the box is checked

Try going to settings and selecting discussion. There are options to control commenting there.

Did you open up the page options at the top right of your pages or post which is a drop down and make sure the comment box is checked.

Yes the comment box is checked on all pages. :/

Sorry I have never use that theme so I was not too helpfull
