Well, I talked a lot lately to many people about how obtaining number 1 rankings for Google is not the best source of making money and I still feel this way however it does feel nice to finally make it on page 1 and ranked #1.
I really never though that it would happen, right after the new Google system was installed. Guess what that means folks, being honest does pay off.
I still think that the combination of social media and proper SEO is the key to success but it sure does feel good to be on top, even if it does last long.
Just an awareness that you can do it so don't give up.

Obtaining #1 rankings is not a good source of income, it is the best source of income. I have had single rankings generating a full time income online...and that is something that can absolutely happen and will happen every time.
Will you strike it rich with every post, no. Is Google the most powerful source of relevant and engaged traffic online, absolutely. No question.

Thank you, it's been trying at times but great to see results such as this. I just need to stay focused on the right things using the right tools and having the right community help.

Social signals from the social networks are a factor in google's algorithm as is the amount of traffic and user experience (like keeping them on the page and your site longer) which all really boils down to what Vitaly is saying..quality content! as it is the quality of your content that will determine if you can achieve all that.
