I agree with others' comments that it could prove to be a good thing only if you are absolutely clear that they are wanting to use it as an educational tool to their visitors on what Wealthy Affiliate is like. Just be cautious.

Hello healthierguy. Thanks for the concern.

My advice would be no. You are the one that purchased a premium membership to wealthyaffiliate.com. Since it is your site, you are responsible for any content that is posted on it as the site owner. You would be putting your reputation and that of your site at risk, so no would be my answer. That would be my advice. Hope it helps.

It sounds to me like they want to link to your site to show it as an example of something, and that is a good thing. Ask them exactly what they want to do, and than ask here again with a bit more information.

Hello Marith. Thanks for connecting, as what I have received, they want to show my site to their visitors of what they will learn from WA via their blog post. Let me know if this acceptable reason.

Thanks,

Yes, to me it looks like they want to link to your site for people to see, and that is very good, will bring you traffic, but don't give away any password or access to your page.

I will not give any access to them. Thanks for connecting.

I agree with the others. Never give someone else the ability to take over your site whenever they want to. You don't know what they might do, either intentionally or unintentionally. This is your business site, so treat it that way.

If you know them and trust them, use the authorship only privileges mentioned below.

Or, if they are willing to write a related post for you as a guest poster, then that's great. Have them write their post and give it to you. That way, you can review it and add it to your site or edit it first.

Hello AllynBeekman. Thanks for connecting, I am 100 % agree with that too but I am not sure that by letting someone put my website to their blog post is meaning that I have to give someone an access to my site? If so, I will say no.

As what I received, someone is promoting WA Bootcamp and he/she wanted to show my site to his/ her visitors (via blog post) as an example of what they will learn from the community. Please let me know if this is a good reason.

Thanks,

So, they want to link to your site as an example of promoting WA? That would be just fine!

Thanks a lot Allyn.

It depends on the trust level you have with this person. Until you are comfortable with them, I would have them email a post to you and review it before putting it on your site.
If you have a good trust level, then you can establish a new user in Wordpress with authorship only privledges for them.

I have nothing to talk about trust because I just know the person in WA. He/she is promoting WA Bootcamp and wanted to show my site to his/her visitors as an example of what they will learn. By letting the person put my site to his/her blog post does it mean that I have to give the person an access to my site? Please help me out with this.

Thanks,

If I were you I would get more information about what they are wanting to do.

Hello teacup. As what I have received, they wanted to show my website to their visitors via their blog post. They are promoting WA
Bootcamp. Please let me know if this is acceptable reason. They have nothing to control on my website.

Thanks,

That is something that will actually help you unless they make bad remarks about your site. I have six examples of WA members on one of my sites. All it does is give them a backlink and lets the public know that WA members do learn how to build good websites. That promotes WA as well.

are you looking to have a guest blogger or do you mean you want someone to write your content for you, also is it someone you know .. for just letting someone have access to your site could mean them causing problems and compromising your site security

Hello Katie. Thanks for connecting. I mean that, someone is promoting WA Bootcamp and they wanted to show my site to their visitors (via their blog post) as an example of what they will learn from the community. Let me know if this is a good reason.

Thanks,

I to would say no it is better for you to write posts and showcase WA

I donot understand exactly, do you mean that they will add a blog to your site as a guest blogger?

Hello Loes. I mean they wanted to show my site to their visitors via their blog post. To show as an example of what their visitors will learn from WA. They are promoting WA Bootcamp. Let me know if this is a good reason.

Thanks,

They just put a link to your site on their blog? That looks fine to me.

Thanks a lot Loes.
